Abstract
Un método y aparato para la seleccion de canales de acceso aleatorio (RACH) en una red de evolucion a largo plazo (LTE) incluye determinar una distancia desde una unidad de transmision/recepcion inalámbrica (WTRU) hasta un Nodo B evolucionado (eNB)m en una celda de la red de LTE. Luego se selecciona un canal RACH basándose en la determinacion de la distancia.
