Abstract

Composiciones y métodos para producir un cultivo con un nivel predeterminado de al menos una característica primaria de interés. Las composiciones comprenden semillas y plantas que presentan una característica primaria de interés. Las características primarias incluyen características que mejoran o facilitan de otra manera la conversion de un material vegetal cosechado en un producto de utilidad comercial. El nivel predeterminado de la característica primaria de la planta cosechada se obtiene mezclando el material vegetal cosechado de al menos dos variedades de plantas, en donde al menos una de dichas variedades presenta dicha característica primaria. La mezcla se puede adaptar para su uso posterior en diversas aplicaciones industriales o agronomicas de importancia comercial.
