Abstract

The compositions of the application can be applied topically to the biological surface, including but not limited to the skin, in an amount effective for the improvement of the aesthetic and natural appearance of the biological surface. Claim 1: A cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition comprising: (a) a nanocomposite pigment consisting of: (1) a nucleus, and (2) a coverage consisting of nanoparticles in which said nucleus has a refractive index greater than refractive index of the nanoparticles, and (b) a cosmetic or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
