Abstract
Se revelan unidades de transmision y recepcion inalámbricas (WTRUs) que reciben una transmision de enlace descendente de un nodo B y decodifican la transmision de enlace descendente. Si no tiene éxito la decodificacion, la WTRU envía una ráfaga de senales predefinida indicando un aviso de recepcion negativa (NACK) al Nodo B por un canal de retroalimentacion compartido en situacion de contencion. La ráfaga de senales predefinida puede enviarse unicamente una vez sin necesidad de confirmacion de recepcion. El nodo B calibra la energía de transmision de enlace descendente de modo que la transmision de enlace descendente es transmitida con alta probabilidad de recepcion a las WTRUs. El nodo B puede enviar la transmision de enlace descendente, incluyendo varias corrientes de datos procesadas utilizando esquemas de codificacion y modulacion diferentes de modo que la WTRU que tenga una calidad de senal alta decodifique todas las corrientes de datos, asimismo la WTRU que tenga calidad de senal baja no decodifica todas las corrientes de datos. El nodo B envía un umbral de indicador de calidad de canal (CQI) de modo que cada WTRU determine una corriente de datos para enviar la retroalimentacion en funcion del umbral de CQI y el CQI medido.
