Se decribe un procedimiento para desvincular la temperatura de reaccion de la temperatura de rectificacion en unidades de craqueo catalítico fluido, que busca permitir una rectificacion más eficiente, manteniéndose la temperatura de rectificacion en niveles menores que los usuales, de manera de reducir la cantidad de calor transferida hacia el regenerador por el catalizador. Se propone la inyeccion de un líquido como, por ejemplo, agua, en sustitucion del vapor de rectificacion o en conjunto con dicho vapor de rectificacion. De esta manera, es posible reducir la cantidad de calor que es transferida hacia el regenrador, ya que parte de esta energía es utilizada para la evaporacion del líquido.A procedure for decoupling the reaction temperature from the rectification temperature in fluid catalytic cracking units is described, which seeks to allow a more efficient rectification, the rectification temperature being maintained at lower levels than usual, in order to reduce the amount of heat transferred to the regenerator by the catalyst.
