Abstract

La presente se refiere a un proceso para la produccion de dioxido de cloro, comprendiendo dicho proceso, en forma continua, las etapas de: (a) alimentar a un reactor un ácido, clorato de metal alcalino y un agente reductor; (b) hacer reaccionar el clorato de metal alcalino con el ácido y el agente reductor para formar una corriente de producto que comprende dioxido de cloro y sal de metal alcalino del ácido; (c) llevar la corriente de producto desde el reactor hasta un eductor y mezclarla con fluido en movimiento alimentado al eductor y formar de este modo una corriente de producto diluido; (d) llevar la corriente de producto diluido a un separador gas-líquido en donde el gas es separado del líquido en el mismo; (e) retirar una corriente de producto gaseosa que comprende dioxido de cloro y gas inerte de dicho separador gas-líquido; y (f) retirar una fase líquida del separador gas-líquido. This also refers to a production unit for producing chlorine dioxide.
