Abstract

Un aparato y método de gestion de documentos implementados en un entorno de red que contiene un sistema de gestion de documentos (DMS), al menos un dispositivo multifuncion (MDF) y una red que conecta el sistema de gestion de documentos a los MFDs. Las actividades del MDF de escaneado, faxeado, copiado e impresion están integradas con un DMS, que utiliza firmas obtenidas a partir de una característica natural intrínseca de las copias impresas de documentos, como ser partículas opticas del papel, cuando las copias impresas son procesadas por el MFD. De esta forma, el ciclo de vida de las copias impresas dentro de una oficina puede ser ingresado en el DMS, y, opcionalmente, los procedimientos también pueden ser controlados de acuerdo con los derechos sobre los documentos en posesion de diferentes usuarios.
