Abstract
Métodos y aparatos para almacenar, manipular, recuperar y enviar informacion de estado, por ejemplo, contexto y otra informacion, utilizados para soportar sesiones de comunicaciones con uno o más nodos finales, por ejemplo, dispositivos moviles. Varios de los aspectos están orientados a un nodo final que controla la transferencia de estado desde un primer nodo de acceso a un segundo nodo de acceso durante una operacion de transferencia, con lo cual se elimina toda necesidad de transmitir mensajes de transferencia de estado entre el segundo nodo de acceso y el primer nodo de acceso durante la transferencia o el uso de un nodo nucleo de la red para soportar la transferencia de estado. A medida que parte de una informacion de estado de transferencia se obtiene por un nodo final desde el nodo de acceso vigente en forma cifrada y seguidamente comunicada al nuevo nodo de acceso hacia el cual ha de completarse la operacion de transferencia. El nuevo nodo de acceso, por ejemplo una estacion base, descifra la informacion de estado y seguidamente la utiliza para soportar las comunicaciones con el nodo final. Mientras la informacion se está comunicando hacia y desde el nodo final por medio de enlaces inalámbricos, dado que ha sido cifrada por el primer nodo de acceso, es segura y puede ser objeto de confianza por el nodo de acceso receptor, por ejemplo, el nodo de acceso objetivo.
