Abstract

Una tomacorriente de seguridad mejorada para enchufes de dos espigas o tres espigas de que comprende: a) bornes hembras receptores de las espigas del enchufe macho, b) conectores de entrada de línea, c) piston movil de material no conductor de la electricidad dispuesto transversalmente a la direccion de entrada de las espigas del enchufe, teniendo dicho piston dos brazos transversales inferiores de material no conductor de la electricidad dotados en sus extremos de sendos bornes de contacto positivo y negativo, y en su parte superior dos brazos transversales en cuyos extremos presentan una superficie convexa que queda enfrentada al orificio de entrada de las espigas positivo y negativo del enchufe macho, d) medios flexibles que conectan eléctricamente los bornes de contacto a los respectivos conectores de entrada de línea, c) un resorte de compresion. Cuando no hay enchufe macho insertado en el tomacorriente, el resorte de compresion mantiene al piston movil en una posicion en las que los bornes de contacto positivo y negativo están separados de los bornes hembras correspondientes. Por otra parte al insertar un enchufe macho de dos o tres espigas las espigas positivas y negativas del enchufe macho empujan sobre la cara convexa de los extremos de los brazos transversales superiores del piston movil hacia arriba comprimiendo el resorte hasta que los bornes de contacto positivo y negativo entran en contacto físico con los respectivos bornes hembras, permitiendo la transmision de corrientes eléctrica hacia las espigas del enchufe macho.
