Abstract

Un aparato para inspeccion optica de recipientes (12), el cual incluye una fuente de luz (14) que posee al menos un diodo emisor de luz (16) con una superficie de matriz emisora de luz (18). Lentes y/o espejos (20, 43) que enfocan la superficie de matriz emisora de luz sobre una porcion seleccionada de un recipiente y un sensor de luz (24) que recibe una imagen de la porcion seleccionada del recipiente iluminado por la fuente de luz. Un procesador de informacion (28) acoplado a dicho sensor de luz para detectar las variaciones comerciales en la posicion iluminada de recipiente en funcion de la imagen recibida por el sensor. La imagen se puede revelar mediante la transmision de la energía de luz a través de la porcion seleccionada del recipiente, y/o mediante la reflexion y/o refraccion de la energía de luz en la porcion seleccionada del recipiente. La fuente de luz puede incluir un unico diodo emisor de luz o una pluralidad de diodos emisores de luz que posee superficies e matriz emisora de luz enfocadas sobre el recipiente de modo tal que las imágenes de las superficies de matriz emisora de luz se superponen y/o son adyacentes entre sí en el recipiente.
