Abstract

Métodos y aparatos para codificar y decodificar tramas de multimedia. El método comprende codificar un conjunto de tramas de adquisicion que incluyen una trama visualizable, cada trama que comprende una o más porciones intra-codificadas y una o más porciones inter-codificadas, en donde el acto de codificar las porciones intra-codificadas comprende posicionar las porciones intra-codificadas tal que cuando las porciones intra-codificadas del conjunto de tramas de adquisicion están combinadas, se forma una trama compuesta intra-codificada completa. El acto de codificar las porciones inter-codificadas comprende predecir las porciones inter-codificadas tal que la rama visualizable está compuesta por porciones intra-codificadas y porciones inter-codificadas que están directa o indirectamente predecidas a partir de las porciones intra-codificadas del conjunto de tramas de adquisicion
