Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de una composición de catalizador de fosfato de las tierras raras, fluida, que comprende: a) proveer una sal de las tierras raras soluble en un compuesto orgánico que contiene hidrógeno activo C9-30 a una temperatura menor de 120sC; b) agregar y disolver la sal de las tierras raras en un compuesto orgánico que contiene hidrógeno activo C9-30, produciendo de este modo una solución de tierras raras/orgánica; y c) agregar ácido fosfórico a la solución de tierras raras/orgánica en una relación molar entre sal de las tierras raras y ácido fosfórico en el rango de 0,7:1 a 1,3:1, produciendo de este modo la composición de catalizador de fosfato de las tierras raras, fluida, y un procedimiento para la preparación de aductos de óxido de alquileno de compuestos orgánicos que contienen hidrógeno activo, que comprende poner en contacto un reactivo de óxido de alquileno que comprende uno o más óxidos de alquileno adyacentes con un reactivo que contiene hidrógeno activo que comprende uno o más compuestos orgánicos que contienen hidrógeno activo, en presencia de una cantidad catalíticamente efectiva de una composición de catalizador fluida de este tipo.A process for the preparation of a fluid rare earth phosphate catalyst composition, comprising: a) providing a rare earth salt soluble in an organic compound containing C9-30 active hydrogen at a temperature less than 120sC; b) add and dissolve the rare earth salt in an organic compound containing C9-30 active hydrogen, thereby producing a rare earth / organic solution; and c) adding phosphoric acid to the rare earth / organic solution in a molar ratio between rare earth salt and phosphoric acid in the range of 0.7: 1 to 1.3: 1, thereby producing the catalyst composition of rare earth phosphate, fluid, and a process for the preparation of alkylene oxide adducts of organic compounds containing active hydrogen, which comprises contacting an alkylene oxide reagent comprising one or more adjacent alkylene oxides with an active hydrogen containing reagent comprising one or more organic compounds containing active hydrogen, in the presence of a catalytically effective amount of such a fluid catalyst composition.
