Abstract
Una media terapéutica, para uso femenino y del tipo que se extiende, en forma enteriza y elásticamente ajustada, desde los pies hasta la cintura y donde el tejido de la media tiene una elasticidad y consecuente ajuste que varía en función de las diferentes partes anatómicas que cubren. La parte de la media que se extiende al menos entre el extremo superior de las piernas, donde comienzan los glúteos, y al menos las proximidades de la porción correspondiente a la cintura, presenta una sucesión de franjas perimetrales que definen respectivos anillos de compresión graduada y diferenciada de la porción del cuerpo que rodean. De acuerdo con variantes de realización, los anillos de compresión pueden estar definidos por un tejido formado por hilos de diferente elasticidad respecto del tejido del resto de la media, o bien por un tejido formado con una mayor cantidad de hilos que el tejido del resto de la media.
