Abstract
Un teléfono inalámbrico que no posee capacidad IP no obstante se comunica con una infraestructura que utiliza IP. Un componente de infraestructura asigna una dirección IP temporaria al teléfono inalámbrico sobre la base de la localización del teléfono, y luego transforma los paquetes de protocolo de voz de activación en el aire (OTA), como los paquetes IS-95, desde el teléfono inalámbrico a los paquetes IP.
