Abstract
Se describen novedosas composiciones poliméricas, junto con su uso como fluidos de mantenimiento de pozos, por ejemplo como fluidos de terminacion, fluidos de reacondicionamiento o fluidos de perforacion , que comprende copolímeros hidrosolubles que tienen grupos sulfonato y grupos carboxilato, junto con sales de metales alcalinos de ácido carboxílico. Un copolímero ejemplar tiene de 5 a 95% en peso de unidades estructurales derivadas del ácido 2-acrilamido-2-metilpropanosulfonico o su sal, y de 5 a 95% en peso de unidades estructurales derivadas del ácido acrílico o su sal. Se puede utilizar una sal del polímero, como ser sales de sodio, potasio, amonio y calcio. Ejemplos de sales de metales alcalinos de la composicion polimérica incluyen las sales de sodio, potasio y cesio de ácido formico y/o ácido acético en cantidades adecuadas para desarrollar viscosidad a temperaturas elevadas adecuada para tales fluidos de mantenimiento de pozos. La composicion polimérica es hidratable/soluble en una salmuera de sales de sodio y/o potasio y/o cesio de ácido formico y/o acético
