Abstract

La presente se relaciona con un tornillo para hueso, en particular, para usar con férulas externas en la estabilizacion de las fracturas, el cual comprende un cuerpo cilíndrico alargado (2), de una longitud predeterminada, y un diámetro que se ahusa hasta formar una porcion terminal con rosca (5), la cual remata en una punta (6), y un extremo opuesto para la manipulacion del tornillo (3). El extremo para la manipulacion del tornillo (3) tiene sustancialmente el mismo diámetro que el del cuerpo cilíndrico alargado (2) y comprende una cara plana (7) que se extiende paralela al eje del cuerpo cilíndrico sobre la parte principal de la porcion del cuerpo cilíndrico que no está ocupada por la rosca. En otra forma de realizacion, el extremo para la manipulacion del tornillo (3) está formado con una pluralidad de caras planas (8) que se extienden paralelas al eje del cuerpo cilíndrico (2) a separaciones predeterminadas. Estas caras planas se extienden sobre la parte principal de la porcion del cuerpo cilíndrico que no está ocupada por la seccion con rosca y alternan con unas salientes (9).
