Abstract

Una tarjeta de transaccion para el uso con un dispositivo de deteccion de tarjeta de transaccion, un método de uso de dicha tarjeta de transaccion y disposicion para detectar dicha tarjeta de transaccion. El dispositivo de deteccion de tarjeta de transaccion incluye una tarjeta de transaccion de un material capaz de permitir el paso de luz visible tal como un PVC claro, y un filtro infrarrojo el cual es capaz de permitir el paso de luz visible mientras que previene el paso de luz infrarroja en un rango predeterminado de longitud de onda que es emitido por una fuente de luz infrarroja del dispositivo de verificacion de tarjeta de transaccion. Cuando la tarjeta de transaccion es insertada en el dispositivo de verificacion de tarjeta, y el filtro de luz infrarroja interrumpe el paso de luz infrarroja desde la fuente de emision de luz infrarroja a un sensor de luz infrarroja del dispositivo de deteccion de tarjeta de transaccion, el sensor de luz infrarroja genera una senal indicadora de la presencia de la tarjeta de transaccion en el dispositivo de deteccion de tarjeta en respuesta a la interrupcion.
