Abstract

El conjunto puede además incluir un inyector de gas di spuesto en posicion adyacente a una entrada a dicho conducto proporcionando un flujo de gaspara mezclarlo con dicho flujo de gas de combustion. Asimismo se revela un método por medio del cual el conjunto quemador es empleado para introducir conductod e gas de combustion reciclado RFG en al zona de combustion para reducir en consecuencia de un modo eficaz y efectivo el contenido de NOx del gas combustibledel horno producido cuando el aire y el combustible fluido son quemados en una zona de combust ion del horno.A burner assembly for an oven or similar device with a firebox that defines a combustion zone. The burner assembly includes a first annular block that defines a central path for a combustion air flow and a second block that annular concentric with the first. The second annular block has an internal diameter greater than the external diameter of said first annular block. The second annular block surrounds at least a portion of the first annular block so that it defines a ring-shaped conduit between them. The blocks are adapted to be placed in the combustion zone of the oven, the conduit being in direct communication of fluids with the combustion gases surrounding the combustion zone. The arrangement is such that the combustion air flowing along said path induces a flow of combustion gas through the conduit to carry it through the flow of combustible air. The assembly may also include a gas injector positioned adjacent to an inlet to said conduit providing a gas flow to mix it with said combustion gas flow. A method is also revealed by means of which the burner assembly is used to introduce RFG recycled combustion gas into the combustion zone to consequently effectively and effectively reduce the NOx content of the fuel gas of the furnace produced when the air and the fluid fuel is burned in a combustion zone of the furnace.
