Abstract

Se proveen un sistema y métodos que permiten transferir, almacenar y compartir documentos electronicos en forma segura. Cuando un documento electronicodebe ser manipulado por el sistema, se genera un par de claves de documento que comprenden una clave publica de documento y una clave privada de documento. Elpar de claves de documento es usado para cifrar el documento y se usa una clave publica asociada con un receptor para cifrar el par de claves de documento.Cada miembro del equipo es provistocon una copia de un par de claves de equipo que comprende una clave publica de equipo y una clave privada de equipo cifradausando su clave publica . La clave privada de equipo puede ser usada para descifrar el par de claves de documento que puede serusado para descifrar eldocumento. El domumento y todas las claves son generadas, cifradas y descifradas en el conmutador de un usuario de manera que el sistema de manejo dedocumentos no tiene acceso a versiones descifradas del documento o las claves. El sistema es descripto a título ilustrativo en el contexto de un sistema demanejo de documentos accesible por internet.
