Procedimiento para la preparacion de derivados de ácido dioxopenicilánico y de sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables de formula general (1), donde: R eshidrogeno, alquilo C1-5 ramificado o no, o resto del tipo -CH2R, donde, R es hidrogeno, halogenoo grupo p-toluensulfonilo. Se obtienen por reaccion de loscompuestos de formula general (2) donde: R está definido anteriormente y X puede tomar los valores hidrogeno o bromo, con un reactivo metálico constituido poruna mezcla o aleacion de cobrey/o cobalto y/o manganeso con hierro y/o níquel en un medio acuoso-orgánico.
