Abstract

Al recibir una solicitud para preparar un canal de comunicacion que tengaun modo de operacion digital o analogico y determinar que los dichos canales están disponibles, un transceptor inactivo en espera que opera de acuerdo con unmodo de operacion alternativo se reconfigura automáticamente para que opere en el modo solicitado a fin de proporcionar el canal de comunicacion solicitado. Enla alternativa, se almacenan las estadísticas de tráfico historico y el estimulador de tráfico las usa para calcular periodicamenteuna distribucion optimapara maximizar la utilizacion de recursos del sistema y las ganancias se implementa reconfigurando los transceptores de modo multiple de acuerdo con ladistribucion calculada.A system and method for automatically reconfiguring a multiple mode transceiver of a mobile telecommunications system in order to adapt it to traffic changes corresponding to two or more modes of operation.
