Abstract

Estructuras absorbentes para su uso en artículos absorbentes, que comprenden una primera region para captacion/distribucion de fluidos y una segundaregion para almacenamiento de fluidos. La primera region comprende materiales que pueden tener unapre sion de desorcion capilar relativamente alta, mientrasque la segunda region comprende materiales o elementos que exhiben una presion de absorcion capilar suficientemente alta de modo de drenar auneficientemente la primera region. De este modo,la pri mera region comprende material que tiene un flujo acumulativo de más de 0,075 g/cm2/seg a 12,4 cmde altura, y/o un tiempo de escurrimiento de menos de 120 segundos a esa altura, y la segunda region comprende material que cumple por lo menoscon uno d elos requisitos siguientes: (a) una capacidad de absorcion a 35 cm de por lo menos 15 g/g en el ensayo de sorcion capilar; y/o (b) una capacidad deabsorcion a 0 cm de por lo menos 15 g/g en el ensayo de sorcion capilar, y una eficiencia deabsorcion a 40 cm de por lo menos 55%; y/o (c) una alturade Sorcion Absorcion Capilar, al 50% de su capacidad y a 0 cm de altura de absorcion (CSAH 50), de por lo menos 35 cm. en el ensayo de sorcioncapilar.
