Abstract

La invencion se refiere a una jaula para un rodamiento de rodillos del tipo destinado a separar y guiar los rodillos (3) de un rodamiento de rodillos, y unmétodo para el montaje de tal jaula. La jaula sigue siendo una jaula de dos partes fabricada deun material plástico y que presenta una primera parte (7) quecomprende un miembro de anillo (8) con una pluralidad de porciones de nervios (9) espaciadas en forma pareja en direccion circunferencial y que se proyectanaxilmente desde una cara del miembro de anillo, y una segunda parte (10) que comprende un miembro de anillo anular (14) que se puede conectar a los extremoslibres de las porciones de nervios(9) a fin de formar una cavidad (16) para cada uno de dichos rodillos (3), en donde la primera parte de la jaula (7) y lasegunda parte de la jaula (10,10,10b)presentan depresiones de contacto (11, 11a), y proyecciones (15, 15a), que se encuentran interconectadas por medio dejuntas de soldadura (18,18a,18; 19,19a,19b),situadas en diferentesniveles espaciadas unas de otras en la direccion axil de la jaula, para brindar juntas conuna mayor resistencia a la tension y a la flexion.The invention relates to a cage for a roller bearing of the type intended to separate and guide the rollers (3) of a roller bearing, and a method for mounting such cage.
