Abstract

Un artículo absorbente tridimensional (20) que tiene una forma tridimensional antes de usar con una region posterior generalmente convexa haciaarriba, que tiene una superficie de frente al cuerpo (20a) y una superficie de frente a la prenda (20b), unplano de simetría longitudinal (S), un bordede extremo anterior (32a) y un borde de extremo posterior (32b), y que comprende una hoja superior permeable al líquido (22), una hoja posterior (23)unida a la hoja superior antes mencionada y un nucleo absorbente (24) entremedio de la hoja posterior y la hoja superior. El artículo absorbente comprendeelementos de puno (88) que se extienden lateralmente a lo largo de los bordes laterales longitudinales del artículo y que son elásticamente extensiblespor lo menos en la direccion longitudinal, para evitar que porciones de la prenda interior se introduzcan entre la almohadilla y el cuerpo.
