Abstract
Se brinda un aparato de filtro para usar en el control de contaminacion del aire que incluye por lo menos un cartucho de filtro hueco ubicado dentro de ungabinete de soporte. El aire contaminado es introducido en el gabinete de soporte a través deun a entrada y se lo hace fluir hacia una cámara de escapeadyacente al gabinete de soporte luego de pasar a través de cartuchos de filtro en el gabinete de soporte para eliminar las partículas que hay en el aire.También se brindan inyectores de airecom primido para dirigir en forma selectiva un pulso invertido de aire en las aberturas de los cartuchos de filtro desdeel lado de la cámara de escape de los mismos de modo que el pulso de aire invertido ingrese en los cartuchos de filtro y fluya atravé s del medio de filtro enla direccion inversa de aquella del flujo de aire contaminado para eliminar por ello los agentes contaminantes acumulados del medio de filtro. Para mejorar lalimpieza periodica de los filtros, se ubican encarteselongados dent ro de los cartuchos de filtro para reducir el volumen interno de los cartuchos de filtro.Los inyectores de aire comprimido incluyen preferiblemente boquillas afiladas ubicadas y alineadas con una abertura correspondiente de modo quelos pulsos deaire invertido puedan desviarse fuera de los encartes ubicados dentro de las paredes de los cartuchos de filtro y, como resultado, contra la superficieinterior entera del medio de filtro para realizar una limpieza pareja desubstancialmente la totalidad de la longitud del montaje de filtro.A filter apparatus is provided for use in air pollution control that includes at least one hollow filter cartridge located within a support sleeve. Contaminated air is introduced into the support cabinet through an inlet and is flowed into an exhaust chamber adjacent to the support cabinet after passing through filter cartridges in the support cabinet to remove particles in the air. Premium air injectors are also provided to selectively direct an inverted pulse of air into the openings of the filter cartridges from the side of the exhaust chamber thereof so that the inverted air pulse enters the cartridges filter and flow through the filter medium in the reverse direction of that of the flow of contaminated air to thereby remove the accumulated pollutants from the filter medium. To improve the periodic cleaning of the filters, long inserts are located on the filter cartridges to reduce the internal volume of the filter cartridges. The compressed air injectors preferably include sharp nozzles located and aligned with a corresponding opening so that the pulses of air inverted, they can deviate out of the inserts located within the walls of the filter cartridges and, as a result, against the entire inner surface of the filter means to perform a clean cleaning evenly the entire length of the filter assembly.
