Abstract
Un método para mediciones de resonancia magnética nuclear (RMN) de las propiedades petrofísicas de una formacion geologica y un aparato para llevar ala práctica dicho método ( para la separacion de fases de fluído en mediciones de barrenos porRMN). El método tiene como base la difusion forzada como elmecanismo de relajacion dominante para cierta fase de fluído y en un aspecto comprende los pasos de determinar un conjunto de parámetros para un gradientede medicion RMN, que establece unlímite superior en la aparente relajacion transversal T2a de una fase de salmuera de la formacion; obteniéndose unregistro por RMN impulsado que utiliza el conjunto de parámetros determinado; y estimando el registro por RMN de la contribucion dela fase de hidrocarburosdistinta de la salmuera sobre la base del límite superior establecido. En otro aspecto el método se puede utilizar para procesar el registro por RMN impulsadopara limitar la contribucion de la salmuera a componentes que caenp or debajo del límite superior establecido. En otro aspecto el método se puede utilizarpara procesar el registro por RMN impulsado para limitar la contribucion de la salmuera a componentes que caen por debajo del límite superiorestablecido.también el aparato correspondiente para llevar a la práctica el método revelado (al ajustar ciertos parámetros que controla el usuario. La invencion es másespecíficamente aplicable a la separacion de la salmuera de los hidrocarburos, conel uso de difusion mejorada para establecer un límite superior para ladistribucion espectral T2 de la salmuera. Los parámetros que se pueden modificar para mejorar la relajacion por difusion durante las medicionesincluyen el espaciamientointer-eco Te y la gr adiente G del campo magnético dela herramienta de medicion
