Abstract

Una antena (1) para un aparato de radio portátil que comprende una vaina del elemento radiador (5), un cuerpo (3), y unas patas (11) unidas a dichocuerpo (3) en forma que pueden pivotar. Las patas (11) pueden pivotar en el cuerpo (3) desde unaposicion de almacenamiento en la cual están adyacentes ala vaina del elemento radiador (5) hacia una posicion de trabajo en la cual están extendidas lejos del cuerpo (3) en una direccion opuesta de la vaina delelemento radiador (5) y pueden soportar la antena con la vaina del elemento radiador apuntando hacia arriba. La invencion también propone un plano detierra para dicha antena que comprende las patas las cuales están unidas en forma movible a dicho cuerpo de antena o medio de carcasa y son movibles hastaun ángulo de al menos 90* desde la posicion colapsada adyacente a dicho elemento radiador hasta una posicion de trabajo que se extiende desde dichocuerpo o medio de carcasa en una direccion lejos de dicho cable de elemento radiador. Por la utilizacion de las patas para formar tanto el plano de tierracomo la base estable para la antena, hay un ahorro de peso como de espacio puesto que no existe más la necesidad de proveer una base separada y un planode tierra separado.
