Abstract

Un sistema de comunicacion de acceso multiple que comprende: una unidad centralizada; una multiplicidad de unidades periféricas, acopladas a la unidadcentralizada a través de un medio de conexion por el cual se transmiten paquetes de datos delon gitud fija desde dicha unidad centralizada hacia dichas unidadesperiféricas y viceversa. De acuerdo con la invencion dicho medio de conexion comprende: un primer acoplamiento de datos monodireccional dedicado(cell_start_DN, Data_clk_DN,Data_DN), donde la transmision de cada uno de dichos paquetes de datos se concreta en un primer período fijo (T1); un segundoacoplamiento que comprende un acoplamiento de datos monodireccional y un acoplamiento de control bidireccional,donde la tr ansmision de uno cualquierade dichos paquetes de datos se concreta en un segundo período fijo (T2). Gracias a la particular conformacion de dicho medio de conexion es posiblebrindar un control felxible centralizado en la direccionde las unida des periféricas a la unidad centralizada, para limitar el costo de las unidadesperiféricas. La invencion permite así mantener contenida la complejidad de elaboracion a nivel de la unidad centralizada.A multiple access communication system comprising: a centralized unit; a multiplicity of peripheral units, coupled to the centralized unit through a connection means by which fixed-length data packets are transmitted from said centralized unit to said peripheral units and vice versa. According to the invention, said connection means comprises: a first dedicated monodirectional data coupling (cell_start_DN, Data_clk_DN, Data_DN), where the transmission of each of said data packets takes place in a first fixed period (T1); a second coupling comprising a monodirectional data coupling and a bidirectional control coupling, where the transmission of any one of said data packets takes place in a second fixed period (T2). Thanks to the particular conformation of said connection means it is possible to provide a centralized flexible control in the direction of the peripheral units to the centralized unit, to limit the cost of the peripheral units. The invention thus allows to keep contained the complexity of elaboration at the centralized unit level.
