Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso convergente novedoso para la preparacion del compuesto N-[1(R)-[1, 2-dihidro-1-metansulfonil-espiro[3H--indol-3, 4-piperidin]-1-il)carbonil]-2-(fenilmetil-oxi)etil]-2-amino-2- -metil-pro-panamida que tiene la estructura (1) y el cual tiene capacidad paraestimular la liberacion de hormona de crecimiento natural o endogena. Este compuesto puede usarse para tratar condiciones que requieren estimulacion de laproduccion o secrecion de hormonasde crecimiento, tal como en humanos con deficiencia de hormona de crecimiento natural, o en animales usados para laproduccion de alimentos o lana, en donde la estimulacion de la hormona de crecimiento resultara en un animal más grande másproductivo.The present invention relates to a novel convergent process for the preparation of the compound N- [1 (R) - [1,2-dihydro-1-methanesulfonyl-spiro [3H - indole-3, 4-piperidin] -1- il) carbonyl] -2- (phenylmethyl-oxy) ethyl] -2-amino-2--methyl-pro-panamide having structure (1) and which has the ability to stimulate the release of natural or endogenous growth hormone.
