Abstract

El funcionamiento está dado por la combinación de tres factores asaber: 1) desviación parcial y momentánea del flujo de gases hacia una zona de mayor sección y volumen donde disminuyen su velocidad; 2) adecuadaampliación del área superficial en la zona donde los gases disminuyen su velocidad; y 3) repeticiones sucesivas de este ciclo.The exhaust gas silencer-purifier for Diesel engines is a device that is installed in place of conventional silencers in vehicles powered by Diesel engines, or in engines with this characteristic in static functions, with the function of reducing noise and retaining their much of the solid particles produced by combustion inside. The operation is given by the combination of three factors: 1) momentary and partial deviation of the gas flow towards an area with a larger section and volume where its speed decreases; 2) adequate enlargement of the surface area in the zone where gases decrease their speed; and 3) successive repetitions of this cycle.
