Abstract
Un método de tratamiento de aguas ácidas de drenaje de minas o drenaje de aguas conteniendo metales, comprendiendo iones ferrosos y férricos.El método consiste en el incremento del pH del efluente ácido, hasta por lo menos 7,5 poradición de reactivos alcalinos, bajo condiciones tales quelos iones ferrosos son estables en relación a la oxidación a iones férricos, para formar un pricipitado y retirar el precipitado.A method of treating acidic mine drainage waters or drainage waters containing metals, comprising ferrous and ferric ions. The method consists of increasing the pH of the acid effluent, to at least 7.5 by adding alkaline reagents, under conditions such that ferrous ions are stable in relation to oxidation to ferric ions, to form a precipitate and remove the precipitate.
