Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para inhibir la adhesión de bacterias a una superficie sumergible. El método comprende poner en contactola superficie sumergible con una cantidad eficaz de por lo menos una amida para inhibir la adhesión bacteriana a la superficie sumergible. La presenteinvención se refiere también a un método para controlar la biosuciedad de un sistema acuoso. Este método comprende agregar una cantidad eficaz de por lomenos una amida para inhibir la adhesión delas bacterias a una superficie sumergida dentro del sistema acuoso. Mediante este método se controlaeficazmente la biosuciedad sin matar substancialmente las bacterias. La amida usada en el método de la invención tiene la fórmula (I). La presente invenciónse refiere a una composición que contiene amidas y que puede usarse en los métodos precedentes. Las composiciones comprenden por lo menos una amida enuna cantidad eficaz para inhibir la adhesión de las bacterias a superficies sumergibles o sumergidas.
