Abstract
Un método para promover el crecimiento de una planta que comprende: (a) aplicar a las hojas de la planta una cantidad de una sustancia mejoradora queincrementa la cantidad de C1-tetrahidrofolato C1-THF) en las hojas; (b) opcionalmenteapl icarle a las hojas una sustancia de ingreso de C1 queincrementa el metabolismo de fragmentos C1 a través de C1-THF; (c) aplicarle a las hojas un compuesto aceptor de C1 que sirve como recolector de fragmentosC1 en las hojas; y opcional (d)expone r las hojas a condiciones que promuevan el metabolismo oxidativo de la fotorrespiración. Además se dan a conocermezclas y un sistema de composiciones para promover el crecimiento de plantas útiles para llevar a cabo dicho método.A method of promoting the growth of a plant comprising: (a) applying to the leaves of the plant an amount of an enhancing substance that increases the amount of C1-tetrahydrofolate C1-THF) in the leaves; (b) optionally applying a C1-entry substance to the leaves that increases the metabolism of C1 fragments through C1-THF; (c) applying to the leaves a C1 acceptor compound that serves as a collector of C1 fragments in the leaves; and optional (d) exposes the leaves to conditions that promote the oxidative metabolism of photorespiration. Furthermore, mixtures and a system of compositions are disclosed to promote the growth of useful plants to carry out said method.
