Abstract

Se provee una formulación novedosa para la impresión de imágenes sobre una superficie de goma látex. Se utiliza tinta que contiene goma natural osintética, una dispersión de pigmentos, y un medio disolvente aromáticamente insaturado. La estabilidad de la imagen es mejorada proporcionando a lasmoléculas de goma de la tinta un agente, tal como un aril diisocianato, que formará una matriz químicamente resistente, flexible, dura, entre las moléculasde goma de la tinta, la capa base, según donde se encuentre, y la superficie de látex. Ink containing natural synthetic rubber, a pigment dispersion, and an aromatically unsaturated solvent medium is used. Image stability is enhanced by providing the ink rubber molecules with an agent, such as aryl diisocyanate, that will form a tough, flexible, chemically resistant matrix between the ink rubber molecules, the base coat, depending on where it is find, and the latex surface. A base coat can be used on the latex surface in order to attach the printing ink to it. This base coat may comprise a natural gum in an aromatically unsaturated solvent and also contain aryl diisocyanate. Printing methods are also provided with said formulation and using the mentioned ink only. The method can be improved through certain post-printing stages such as heating and curing the printed product.
