Abstract
Una herramienta y método de diagnóstico para analizar la vibración en la línea de transmisión para mediar y caracterizar las vibraciones torsionales enla línea de transmisión de un vehículo. Una unidad electrónica de control(22) y un detector (12)cooperan para medir las fluctuaciones de velocidad que ocurrenen el pasaje de dientes adyacentes de un engranaje giratorio. Estas mediciones de tiempo son las bases para cálculos de desplazamiento,velocidad y aceleraciónque, combinadas con la información del orden rotacional del aro de transmisión, pueden ser usadas para identificar con exactitud la fuente de vibracionestorsionales excesivas en la línea de transmisión.
