Abstract
The invention relates to a device for producing electricity using infrared radiation. The invention relates to a device enabling electric power to be produced by the connection between a radiometer and an alternator. Said device comprises a glass container (tube) (7) in which a mounting (6) is placed which holds a rod (1) to which four rectangular opposing blades are attached [each blade having one blackened surface (5a) and one reflecting surface (5b)]. The bottom portion of the rod has a tubular magnet [rotor (3)]. Said magnet is surrounded by a stationary coil [stator (4)] which does not touch the former. The rod has pointed ends that rest on pin supports (2). The tube can be closed by a cap (8) [enabling the inner part to be replaced or repaired] or made as a single part in which a partial vacuum is formed. If the tube is subjected to a source of infrared radiation, the blades begin to turn and turn the magnet at the centre of the coil. The alternator thus produces electricity (alternating current) which is carried to the outside of the tube where said electricity can be recovered. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for producing electricity using any source of infrared radiation.
