The object of the present invention is that, when the brush nozzle is in the active position, particles should rise up the brush ring. vacuum cleaner nozzle that is sucked from comes inside One also enables so-called edge suction. the work surface according to the invention The object according to the present invention is realized by means of a claimed claim the features. The following is an exemplary embodiment of the invention to be described with reference to the vacuum cleaner nozzle as shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Fig. 1a shows a bottom plan view of the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the invention as it is displaced in the specified direction of movement, the slide plate being disassembled Fig. 1b shows a section after Ib-Ib in Fig. 1a; Fig. 2a shows a bottom plan view of the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the invention when it is displaced in the specified direction of movement, the sliding plate having been dismantled to increase the visibility; Fig. 2b shows a section after IIb-IIb in Fig. 2a; Figures 3a and 3b show schematic side views of an alternative embodiment of the invention; and Fig. 4 shows a bottom plan view of the embodiment according to Figs. 3a and 3b, the sliding plate having been dismantled to increase the visibility.
As can be seen from the figures, the vacuum cleaner nozzle 10 according to the present invention comprises a brush nozzle 12 and a flat nozzle 14, the nozzle 10 being adjustable so that 16, the flat nozzle 14, abuts the working surface via a sliding plate 18. either the brush nozzle 12, via a brush ring or the adjustment of the nozzle 10 can take place either manually or automatically, for example by sensing the negative pressure at the work surface.
It is also possible to design the vacuum cleaner nozzle 10 in such a way that the brush ring 16 of the brush nozzle 12 can assume a number of fixed positions in height or even that the brush ring 16 is steplessly displaced in height, whereby the adjustment can also take place manually or automatically. way. Other arrangements of brush nozzle / flat nozzle adjustment are also conceivable within the scope of the invention, so the examples given above should not be construed as limiting.
Figs. 1a, 1b, 2b all show the position of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 10 where the brush nozzle 12 abuts against the working surface, the flat nozzle 14, ie the sliding plate 18 occupying 2a, a position at a distance from the working surface.
I sammanhang föreliggande uppfinning. The characteristic of the embodiment shown in Figs. 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b is that the brush ring 16 consists of two stationary end portions 16a and two intermediate longitudinal edge portions 16b 16c, the end portions 16a. Within the scope of the invention, the movable edge portions 16b and 16c can have a length which constitutes a different large part of the width of the nozzle, ie it is for example possible that the movable 16a, 16c themselves along the entire longitudinal sides of the nozzle. and which are movable relative to the stationary edge portions, in principle extending. As can be seen most clearly from Figs. 1a and 2a, the stationary end portions 16a of the brush ring 16 are provided below the edge suction openings 20, which are formed by a piece of the brush ring 16. a prerequisite for removal. In the context of the present invention. It also deserves to be clarified that the stationary end portions 16a and the movable edge portions 16b and 16c as a unit can be displaced relative to the flat nozzle 14 with the described adjustment of in connection above the vacuum cleaner nozzle 10.
Tungan 38 är fixerad i manöverdelen 36 medelst en làsskruv 40.The movable edge portions 16b and 16c of the brush ring 16 are attached via hinges 22 to a support plate 24, which is provided with a hole 26 in the middle of the suction opening in the housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 10 (not shown in the figures). In order to provide and synchronize the 16b 16c the stationary end portions 16a of the brush ring 16, in the shown movable edge portions and movement relative to the exemplary embodiment are shown two trailer shoes 28, which are pivotable relative to each shaft 30, which is attached to the support plate 24 via a support member 32 505 115 10 15 20 25 30 35 4 The towing shoes 28 have an upper fastening part 34, which thus receives the shaft 30, and a downwardly extending operating part 36, which interchangeably receives a tongue 38 of flexible material which is intended to abut against the working surface. The tongue 38 is fixed in the operating part 36 by means of a locking screw 40.
Vid sina mot släpskon 28 vända ändar uppvisar plåtblecken 42 en urtagning, vilket medför att två fingrar 44 hos varje plåtbleck 42 på ömse sidor omger släpskornas 28 infästningsdel 34.Connected to each of the movable edge portions 16b and 16c of the brush ring 16 are two sheet metal plates 42 which are located in the middle. These sheet metal plates 42 are integrated parts of the movable parts of the associated trailer shoe 28. are preferably designed as the edge portions 16a, 16c. At its ends facing the trailer shoe 28, the sheet metal plates 42 have a recess, which means that two fingers 44 of each sheet metal plate 42 on either side surround the fastening part 34 of the trailer shoes 28.
As can be seen most clearly from Figs. 1b and 2b, the fastening part 34 of the trailer shoes 28 on each side is provided with paired through-pins 46, each pair of pins 46 receiving the fingers 44 of a sheet metal plate 42 between them. the trailer shoes 28 assume a predetermined end position depending on the direction of movement shown in the figures, ie due to the frictional interaction of the tongue 38 with the working surface, the trailer shoes 28 move between the end positions. When the trailer shoes 28 assume the position shown in Fig. 1b, i.e. when the vacuum cleaner nozzle moves forward, see Fig. 1a, the movable part 16b of the brush ring 16 which is at the front in the direction of movement will be raised slightly from the working surface by the associated plate plate 42 fingers 44 of the associated pair of pins 46 pivot downwardly toward the work surface. In this case, the movable edge portion 16b of the brush ring 16 will be pivoted around its associated hinge 22 and raised slightly from the working surface.
It can be seen directly from Fig. 1b that the elevation of the leading movable edge portion 16b of the brush ring 16 causes fastening and the like. on the brush ring 16 and can be sucked in through the hole 26 / suction opening. particles, dust the work surface comes inside Thus, the inconvenience discussed in the preamble to the description has been eliminated that solid particles and dust are to a large extent only transported around by the brush ring. In the case of the movable edge portion 16c which is located at the rear in the direction of movement according to Fig. 1b, this portion 16c is caused to abut against the working surface. This is achieved by the fingers 44 of the associated sheet metal plate 42, via the associated pair of pins 46, up the edge portion 16c of the brush ring 16 down to abut against the working surface. This prevents the solid particles, dust and the like. the movable edge portion 16b is raised, passes through the bristle ring 16 without being sucked in through the opening 26. Through the trailer shoes 28 via the pin pair 46 and the movable which comes inside the bristle ring 16 is displaced and pivoted by the action on the edge portions 16b and 16c, the sheet metal plate 42, thus a synchronized tilting movement so that at the same time as the edge portion 16b is raised from the working surface, the edge portion 16c is pressed against the working surface at the direction of movement shown in Figs. 1a and 1b.
As indicated in Fig. 1b, the stationary end portion 16a of the brush ring 16 abuts permanently against the work surface when the brush ring 16 is in the operative position. Thereby support is provided at the ends of the vacuum cleaner nozzle when the edge portions 16b and 16c perform their synchronized tilting movement.
Fig. 2b shows the synchronized tilting movement of a vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the invention when the direction of movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle is that shown in Figs. 2a and 2b. Due to the friction, the slippery shoes 28 have the tongues 38 and the working surface adjusted to the position shown in Fig. 2b. Thereby, the edge portion 16c will be raised when the edge portion 16b will be brought into abutment against the work surface. Apart from the fact that a reversal of the edge portions 16b and 16c has taken place, this synchronized is completely described above in connection with Fig.lc. Reference is therefore made to tilting motion analogous to that of what has been said above in this respect.
The Genonx vacuum cleaner nozzle 10 according to the present invention is thus provided that regardless of the direction of movement of the nozzle, an edge portion of the brush ring located at the front in the direction of movement will be raised from the work surface while an edge portion lying at the rear in the direction of movement is pressed against the work surface. 505 115 10 15 20 25 30 35 6 In the study of Fig. 1b it will be understood that when the vacuum cleaner nozzle is moved forward to abut against, for example, a floor plinth, so-called edge suction will take place of the solid particles, dust and the like. which is right next to the floor plinth. This has not been possible with known vacuum cleaner nozzles.
Within the scope of the invention, several variants of a vacuum cleaner nozzle are conceivable. Thus, it is not necessary that the nozzle be a so-called combination nozzle, ie with a brush nozzle and a flat nozzle. The invention relates to a constructive design of the brush nozzle, thus a vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the present invention need only comprise a brush nozzle. only according to the described intermediate portions of the brush ring are movable while the portions of the brush ring present in the area of the ends of the vacuum cleaner nozzle in the above embodiment are stationary. However, within the scope of the invention, it is also conceivable that the entire brush ring as a unit is tiltable in such a way that its front resp. rear edges are imparted to the above-mentioned synchronized tilting movement according to the invention.
As can be seen from Fig. 4, the nozzle 10 'is also provided with slide rails 60' or the like, a function of which the stationary end portions 16a of the brush ring according to the above-described embodiment, i.e. the slide rails 60 'abut all the time when the brush ring 16' performs which principle has the equivalent of its tilting movement.
Figures 3a and 3b illustrate the tilting of the brush ring 16 'at different directions of movement. In the direction of movement according to Fig. 3a the direction moves and consequently which the abutment wheel in the arrow 62 'moves the adjustment wheel 56' in the direction of the arrow 64 ', causes the tilting of the brush ring 16' shown in Fig. 3a. In the direction of movement according to Fig. 3b, the brush ring 16 'thus tilts in the opposite direction.
For the above-described embodiments of the present invention, the synchronized movement of the brush ring is controlled by means of means cooperating with the working surface. However, these means themselves can have different designs and in addition to the trailer shoes shown in the exemplary embodiments above, resp. For example, other types of means which, in the operative position of the brush nozzle, abut against the working surface and are suitably connected to the movable bristles of the brush ring can be imagined. Within the scope of the invention, parts such as the desired tilting movement are also conceivable so that the tilting movement of the brush ring is controlled by means which do not physically interact with the work surface, for example some form of non-contact sensing means which registers the direction of nozzle movement. More specifically, such a sensing means could be constituted by a mechanical or electronic acceleration sensor which senses the direction of movement of the nozzle.
Said acceleration sensor thereby activates, for example, a micromotor or an electromagnet which produces a synchronized tilting movement, i.e. the forward edge portion of the brush nozzle is raised from the base in the direction of movement while the rear edge portion of the brush nozzle is lowered in the direction of movement.
The nozzle according to the two above. described embodiments comprise a closed, substantially circumferential brush ring, which may, however, have edge suction openings. Such a closed brush ring comprises longitudinal edge portions along both longitudinal sides of the nozzle. Within the scope of the invention, it is also conceivable that the nozzle, instead of a closed brush ring, comprises two separate, parallel edge portions along the long sides of the nozzle. These edge portions thereby perform a synchronized raising / lowering movement, whereby the front edge portion is raised in the direction of movement while the rear edge portion is lowered in the direction of movement.
However, there are scrapers / rulers also such nozzles where the brush is replaced by flexible The present invention also comprises that type of nozzles, of material, eg plastic. why the term "edge portion" used in the claims is to be interpreted as material. such as also include scrapers / rulers of flexible
