Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve reliability by connecting an intermediate point between a main decompression device and a passage resistance changing means and an intermediate point between the decompression device and a separator with a bypass line to prevent closure by the oil of the main compressor. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic operation type variable aperture 11 is connected being interposed between a main decompression device 4 and a heat exchanger 7 and a bypass line 20 is provided between two points A and B while an aperture 10 and a solenoid valve 9 are connected being interposed in the bypass line. The point A is located between the main compression device 4 and the variable aperture 11 and the point B between the decompression device 8 and a separator 6. The operating condition of a refrigeration cycle is automatically monitored by a thermometer and a manometer and as oil approaches a probable point of coagulating onto the main decompression device 4, the solenoid valve 9 is opened by an automatic control means while the resistance of a variable aperture mechanism 11 is increased so that a pressure in piping to the main decompression device 4 from the variable aperture mechanism 11 stays at an intermediate pressure between a high pressure and a low pressure to facilitate the outflow of a hot liquid refrigerant from the high pressure side on the upstream side of the decompression device 8 and thus, the oil clinging to the main decompression device 4 is caused to melt and flow.
