Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain personal stereoscopic videos which are free from chromatic aberrations and band-shaped fringes by a lenticular by placing two units of projectors near an observer's head and projecting the videos toward a beads screen. CONSTITUTION:The video projected from the miniature projector 2L is reflected by the beads screen 3 and returns to the projector in the form of a light beam having a width of a range 4L. The video projected from the miniature projector 2R returns in the form of the light beam having the width of a range 4R. As a result, the observer's left eye views the light of the range 4L and the right eye views the light of the range 4R and the observer is thus capable of viewing the stereoscopic images. The movement of the observer's head is thereby enabled. The spectacles-less comfortable stereoscopic projector which obviates the generation of the chromatic aberrations and band-shaped fringes is thus obtd.
