Abstract

PURPOSE: To automate marking which would otherwise cause environmental hygienic problems and to improve workability efficiency by composing a device of a combination of an ink jet marking system and the moving function of a robot which has an arm capable of moving back and forth and rotating vertically.
CONSTITUTION: An ink jet marking device consists of an ink jetter 2 and a robot 1 which consists of a horizontally projected arm 11, support portion 12, and main body 13. The arm 11 of the robot 1 is so supported that it can move back and forth and can rotate vertically. The position of the tip end head 14 of the arm 11 is displaced and controlled by an operation instruction fed from a controller 3. An instructed amount of ink is jetted at instructed timing from a nozzle integral with the head 14 through an expansion ink hose 22 connected with the ink jetter 2, to automatically conduct a desired marking.
