Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a floor cleaning vehicle,
More specifically, the present invention relates to a swing support mechanism of a side brush suitable for cleaning near a wall and a protection device for a vehicle body side portion. 2. Description of the Related Art Generally, in the case of a self-propelled floor cleaning vehicle, it is desirable to provide a side brush so as to be able to swing right and left in order to facilitate wall cleaning. Therefore, conventionally, a movable body disposed on both the left and right sides of a vehicle body is supported by a support shaft at a rear end portion so as to be able to swing left and right with respect to the vehicle body, and a side brush is installed at a front end portion of the movable body so as to be rotatable. A surface cleaning vehicle has been proposed (for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 4-97720). However, according to the conventional floor cleaning truck, the side brush is mounted on a movable body that swings only to the left and right and cannot swing up and down. There is a problem that the follow-up property is deteriorated, unsweeping occurs when the floor surface is uneven, and a poor pressure contact is caused when the brush is worn. Also, when cleaning the wall, various parts on the side of the vehicle body are likely to be damaged by contact with obstacles near the wall, but conventional protective floor cleaning vehicles have not taken sufficient protective measures. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a floor cleaning vehicle that can improve the followability of a side brush to a floor surface and can reliably protect a side portion of a vehicle body from obstacles. [0005] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a floor cleaning truck according to the present invention comprises a bracket mounted on a side portion of a vehicle body via a vertical shaft so as to be swingable from side to side. The arm member is vertically swingably supported via a horizontal shaft, and a side brush is rotatably installed at the front end of the arm member, and a cover member that covers the front and top surfaces of the side brush and the outer surface of the arm member. A spring that is swingably fixed to the bracket and urges the cover member to swing to the outside of the vehicle body; and a stopper that regulates the outside swing position of the cover member. Things
Provide an obstacle sensor that outputs an operation stop signal upon contact,
Using a tape-shaped pressure-sensitive sensor as the obstacle sensor,
Outside the pressure sensor at the corners between the side and front of the material
It is configured by providing a guide roller that can contact the wall surface . According to the above construction, since the side brush is installed on the arm member which can swing right and left and up and down, the side brush is used for unevenness of the floor surface and wear of the brush. It can swing up and down following, and can swing left and right following irregularities on the wall surface and obstacles near the wall. In addition, since the front surface and the upper surface of the side brush and the outer surface of the arm member are covered by the cover member, it is possible to protect various parts on the side of the vehicle body from obstacles when cleaning the wall, and to help prevent accidents due to human body contact. In addition, since the cover member is swung to the left and right but not up and down by being fixed to the bracket, the cover member can always be held at the same height position.
There is no danger of the cover member coming into contact with the floor surface with the vertical swing of the side brush, and no hand or the like is caught between the cover member and the vehicle body. In addition, since the cover member is urged to the outside of the vehicle body by a spring, the urging force can be used to properly press the side brush against the wall surface to easily clean the wall, and when the side brush comes into contact with an obstacle near the wall. In addition, in conjunction with this, the cover member and the arm member are retracted to the inside of the vehicle body, so that a collision can be prevented beforehand. When obstacle sensors are provided on the side and front surfaces of the cover member, obstacles on the sides and the front of the vehicle body can be detected in a wide range, and the operation can be stopped immediately, which is safe. When a guide roller is provided on the cover member, the roller comes into contact with the wall surface to maintain a constant distance between the wall surface and the cover member and a degree of pressing the side brush against the wall surface. The cover member and the wall surface do not come into contact with each other when cleaning by pressing against the wall surface, so that both can be prevented from being damaged, and the wall side cleaning can be easily performed. Further, the side brush is not pressed too much against the wall surface, and the life of the brush bristle can be improved. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 4, the floor cleaning truck of this embodiment includes a hopper 2 for collecting dust at the rear of the vehicle body 1, and a pair of left and right side brushes 3 at the front of the vehicle body 1. A drive wheel 4 and a sweeping brush 5 are provided in a lower portion of the vehicle body 1, and protective cover members 6 are provided on a front surface and both left and right side surfaces of the vehicle body 1. After the dust on the floor F is swept by the side brush 3 toward the center of the vehicle body 1,
The hopper 2 is configured to be collected by the rotation of the sweeping brush 5 and the suction force of a blower (not shown).
The left and right drive wheels 4 are provided with independent drive devices 7 for steering the floor cleaning truck (see FIG. 4). The characteristic structure of the floor cleaning truck according to the present embodiment will be described. A bracket 9 is swingable left and right via a vertical shaft 8 on both left and right sides of the vehicle body 1 behind the sweeping brush 5. Installed. An arm member 11 is supported on the upper end of the bracket 9 via a horizontal shaft 10 so as to be able to swing up and down. The arm member 11 extends forward along both left and right side surfaces of the vehicle body 1 and has a mounting plate 12 at its front end.
The motor 13 is installed via the. The side brush 3 is directly connected to the output shaft of the motor 13.
Note that two arm members 11 may be arranged in parallel in the vertical direction to move the motor 13 in the vertical direction. The cover member 6 has a flat L-shape such that only the bristle tips of the side brushes 3 are exposed forward and sideways, and a front cover portion 6a for covering the front surface of the side brushes 3 is provided.
An upper cover 6b covering the upper surface of the side brush 3, and a side cover 6c covering the outer surface of the arm member 11,
The rear end of the side cover 6c is fixed to the bracket 9 so as to be able to swing integrally in the left-right direction. The upper cover 6b is attached to the lower end of the vehicle body 1 as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 6, a protruding piece 1 is provided on the inner edge of the upper cover portion 6b.
5, a pin 16 is erected, and the pin 16 and the vehicle body 1
A spring 18 that urges the cover member 6 to swing outward from the vehicle body 1 is stretched between the control piece 17 and the control piece 17. A stopper 19 is provided on the upper surface of the upper cover portion 6b so as to engage with the regulating piece 17 to regulate the outer swing position of the cover member 6. Then, while the side brush 3, the arm member 11, and the cover member 6 extend and contract the spring 18, the side brush 3, the arm member 11, and the cover member 6 swing integrally left and right between an outer position shown in FIG. 2 and an inner position shown in FIG. It is configured. One end of a wire 20 suspended on a pulley 21 is connected to the pin 16, and the other end of the wire 20 is connected to a piston rod of an electric cylinder 22. 22, the side brush 3 and the like can be forcibly pulled inward and held. The pin 16 and the stopper 19 are connected to the nut 2
3, the members 16, 19, and 23 are detachably attached to the cover member 6, and the arm member 11 and the cover member 6 are swung at a large angle to the outside of the vehicle body 1 to remove the side brush 3 and the sweeping member. The raising brush 5 can be easily inspected or replaced. On the other hand, on the side and front of the cover member 6,
Upper and lower two tape-shaped obstacle sensors 24 that output an operation stop signal in contact with the obstacle are attached. As the sensor 24, for example, as shown in FIG. 6, a pressure-sensitive sensor in which a switching element 26 that conducts by an external force is provided inside a rubber molding 25 can be used. In addition, a contact sensor such as a limit switch or a non-contact optical sensor can be used, but the pressure-sensitive sensor having excellent durability can be preferably used. A guide roller 27 is rotatably supported by a support shaft 28 via a collar 29 at a corner corresponding to the side brush 3 at a corner of the cover member 6. The guide roller 27 is connected to the opening 30 of the cover member 6.
From the outside, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5,
When cleaning the wall, the roller 27 is moved by the obstacle sensor 24.
It rolls in contact with the wall surface W on the outer side. According to the floor cleaning truck of the present embodiment configured as described above, the side brush 3 is installed on the arm member 11 which can swing right and left and up and down. It swings up and down following the unevenness of F and the wear of the brush, and swings right and left following the unevenness of the wall surface W and obstacles near the wall. Therefore, it is possible to always clean the floor surface F near the wall with the optimal pressing force without leaving any remaining. Further, since the front surface and the upper surface of the side brush 3 and the outer surface of the arm member 11 are covered with the cover member 6, the arm member 1 disposed on the side of the vehicle body 1 for cleaning the wall.
Various components including the motor 1 and the motor 13 can be reliably protected from obstacles, and also help prevent accidents due to human contact. Moreover, since the cover member 6 is fixed to the bracket 9 and swings right and left but does not swing up and down, the cover member 6 can always be held at the same height position, There is no danger that the cover member 6 will be in contact with the floor surface F and be damaged by the swing.
An accident in which a hand or the like is sandwiched between the vehicle and the vehicle body 1 can be prevented. In addition, since the cover member 6 is biased to the outside of the vehicle body 1 by the spring 18, the side brush 3 is
Can be easily pressed against the wall surface W to clean the edge of the wall, and when the side brush 3 comes into contact with an obstacle near the wall, the cover member 6 and the arm member 11 are retracted to the inside of the vehicle body 1 in conjunction with the obstacle. Thus, collision can be prevented beforehand. Further, according to the floor cleaning truck of this embodiment,
Since the obstacle sensors 24 are provided on the side surface and the front surface of the cover member 6, obstacles on the side and the front of the vehicle body 1 can be detected in a wide range. It is safe to stop the rotation immediately. In cleaning the side wall, the guide roller 27 abuts against the wall surface W to maintain a constant distance between the wall surface W and the cover member 6 and a degree of pressing the side brush against the wall surface. Even when the cover member 6 is pressed, the cover member 6 does not come into contact with the wall surface, so that damage to both can be prevented. In addition, erroneous operation of the obstacle sensor 24 can be prevented, and the wall can be easily cleaned. Further, the side brush 3 is not strongly pressed against the wall surface, and the life of the brush bristle material is extended. The present invention is not limited to a garbage sweeping type floor cleaning truck. The side brush oscillating mechanism and the protection device of the above-described embodiment may be replaced with a vacuum type floor for taking garbage into a hopper by suction. The present invention can be applied to a surface cleaning vehicle, and can be embodied by appropriately changing the shape and configuration of each part without departing from the spirit of the present invention. As described above in detail, according to the present invention, the side brush is provided on the arm member which can swing right and left and up and down, and the front and upper surfaces of the side brush and the arm member are provided. Since the outer side is covered with a cover member, it is possible to improve the followability of the side brush to the floor surface, to reliably protect the side of the vehicle body from obstacles, and to prevent pinching accidents between the cover member and the vehicle body. It has the effect. [0023] disabled because harmful substance sensor detects a vehicle body side and the front obstacle extensively, there is an effect that safety is improved. [0024] Proposed in rollers the distance between the wall and the cover member,
Also, since the degree of pressing of the side brush against the wall surface is kept constant, there is no contact between the cover member and the wall surface when cleaning the wall side, so that both can be prevented from being damaged and the wall side can be easily cleaned, and the wall surface can be easily cleaned. Can be prevented from being excessively pressed by the side brush, and the life of the brush bristle material can be improved.
