Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer wall material of embossed metal having a decorative surface which improves the appearance of changing light reflection and prevents cracking in the coated or plated surface of a metal plate, by roll embossing for roughness patterning of a metal plate passing through a combined pair of embossing rolls such that both sides of the metal plate are alternately squeezed.SOLUTION: A long outer wall material has a decorative face with many lateral groove joints having a narrow groove shape in approximately parallel with each other along the longitudinal direction of the front face base, and a plurality of vertical groove joints which are joined with the lateral groove joints in an approximately perpendicular direction so as to form many partitioned faces subdivided therewith. One side of the partitioned face is slightly folded toward the surface so as to form a sloped plane and a top face. The partitioned faces having positions of the sloped plane different from each other relative to the top face are alternately arranged adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction so as to form the decorative face of an outer wall material of embossed metal.

Description

The present invention has a decorative surface that changes the reflection of light by embossing roll processing that adds a concavo-convex pattern by alternately drawing on the front and back of the metal plate through a pair of embossing rolls combined with a metal plate. The present invention relates to an embossed metal outer wall material.

In the case of the conventional example in which the convex region unit in which substantially parallel concavo-convex patterns of four directions or more are formed is provided, the effect is emphasized because it is a substantially parallel concavo-convex pattern having a different directionality that produces an effect of changing reflected light. Therefore, it becomes a thin, almost parallel concavo-convex pattern, the impression of the surface texture of the pattern is limited and monotonous, and the flatness of the pattern surface is lost, and the design that shines like a mirror reflecting sunlight Then, the thin substantially parallel concavo-convex pattern breaks the surface of the metal plate by painting or plating in order to add a small rounded process to the metal plate, thereby generating cracks.

C. The reflection of the light beam 3 by the decorative surface 2 of the outer wall material 1 when the outer wall material 1 of Example 1 shown in FIG.
a. The following incident light 3a enters from above,
A. Sunlight becomes almost parallel light because its diameter is small with respect to distance, and can be expressed as parallel light incident light 3a.
B. Even when sunlight is scattered by the clouds, the average incident light 3a on the average passes through the center of the solid angle when the sky is viewed from the outer wall material 1, and the outer wall material 1 is against the sky of the whole sky. Since it is small, it becomes almost parallel light, and can be expressed as parallel light incident light 3a.
b. The incident light 3a is reflected as follows on the section screen 2f of the decorative surface 2 of the outer wall material 1,
A. The top surface 2a of the section screen 2f is reflected in various directions by a large number of small irregularities 2b formed thereon, so that it is almost irregularly reflected, and is observed regardless of the positional relationship between the observer and the outer wall material 1. The top surface 2a with almost constant brightness is observed from the viewpoint of the person,
B. In the oblique plane 2c of the section screen 2f, the surface is substantially flat, and the light ray 3 in a direction symmetric with respect to the perpendicular to the oblique plane 2c of the incident light 3a at the intersection of the incident light 3a and the oblique plane 2c. Becomes the maximum reflected light 3b, and the smaller the angle from the maximum reflected light 3b, the smaller the light beam 3,
C. The reflected light 3b is different in the upper large section 2g, the upper middle section 2h, and the upper small section 2i from each other, and the height of the top surface 2a is constant. Therefore, the angle of the oblique plane 2c with respect to the top surface 2a In addition, the lower large section 2j, the lower middle section 2k, and the lower small section 2l are in a relationship in which the angle of the oblique plane 2c with respect to the top surface 2a is negative with respect to the former group. A difference occurs,
D. Therefore, the reflected light 3b in various lower directions is generated, and the difference between the angle of the temporary straight line drawn from the outer wall material 1 to the observer and the angle of the reflected light 3b occurs.
c. Depending on the result of the reflection, the following conditions occur:
A. From the viewpoint of the observer, oblique planes 2c with different brightness are observed,
B. As a result, the decorative surface 2 of the outer wall material 1 in which the top surface 2a having a substantially constant brightness and the oblique plane 2c having various brightnesses are intricately observed is observed.
d. In addition, the lateral groove joint 2d
A. The lateral groove joint 2d extending downward from the top surface 2a is deepened, and a dark shadow is formed on the lower side of the top surface 2a by sunlight,
B. However, the horizontal groove joint 2d extending upward from the top surface 2a does not make a shadow,
C. In the case of the horizontal groove joint 2d continuing from the oblique plane 2c, it becomes shallow, and even if shadows due to sunlight etc. are made, it is not noticeable thinly.
D. Therefore, the decorative surface 2 of the outer wall material 1, in which a dark shadow interrupted on the way is arranged, is observed,
e. The above phenomenon also appears when the outer wall material 1 is vertically stretched.
