Abstract

A robotic vacuum cleaner is provided with an optical sensor for avoiding obstacles in its path and also a touch sensitive sensor for the same purpose for avoiding obstacles outside the range of the optical sensor. On touching and obstacle the cleaner stops for seconds, reverses while turning right a the same time, for 3 seconds and then continues forwards. The cleaner can also be controlled from a remote controller and is provided with a switch for switching between the fully autonomous mode and the remote controlled mode.

Description

VACCUM CLEANER
It is a "SELF GUIDED AND REMOTE CONTROLABLE VACCUM CLEANER" It is a Vaccum cleaner capable to move and clean around any room avoiding chock, it will avoid people, furniture or any kind of object in the room; using it frontal sensor (Reflective Opto switch) also in case an object is too low or can not be focus within the vision angle ofthe sensor, this Vaccum cleaner is equipped with a touch sensing system capable of avoiding an object on it path just by a smooth touch of it.
Avoiding chock with it Reflective Opto switch sensor: the Vaccum Cleaner will still moving forward but turning left at the same time so avoiding the obstacle.
Avoiding chock with it touch sensing system: the Vaccum cleaner will stop for 1/4 of a second, reverse back while turning right at the same time for 3 seconds then start moving forward again using both wheel.
it is a Cordless, Super Charged, Self-guided, Remote controllable Vaccum Cleaner; which can clean a four-bedroom house in one charge.
For missed corner or stairs, a horse with handle/airflow control can be plugged for manual cleaning, meaning the Vaccum cleaner can be lifted and held as a briefcase for conventional cleaning.
I DO HAVE A PERFECTLY WORKING PROTOTYPE.
The choice of either feature (self-guiding or remote controllable) can be selected at a change of mode; the system contains a switch with three modes 1,0,2.
( l) For Self-Guiding, (0) for neutral (2) for Remote Controllable When set for self-guiding, the Vaccum cleaner will wonder around the room cleaning by avoiding obstacle and people in the room; then if the switch is moved from I to 2 passing by 0, the Vaccum cleaner will stop waiting for signal from the transmitter meaning the Vaccum cleaner will move only when the transmitter is activated by the user making it remote controllable.

  1. CLAIM
A cordless Self-Guided and Remote Controlled Vacuum Cleaner that guide itself to move around a flat avoiding obstacle while sucking dust from the floor, it is selectively operable in one of the modes: an automatic self:guiding mode or a remotely controlled mode, it is a cordless product with a self contained batteries, two front wheels driven by two separates miniature motors and one single 360 degrees back wheel located in the middle of the lower part of the body, the shape of the body may vary to facilitate the movement around the room, the suction will always made from the lower part of the body, for the self-guiding mode, two sensing system allowed to avoid obstacles,* Proximity sensing system that sense obstacle from a certain distance and send signals for the S.G.V to move away from the obstacle, * Touch sensing system that gently make contact with the obstacle and send signal for the S.G.V to move away from the obstacle; Because of it way of cleaning (moving freely around the flat) This Vacuum Cleaner have the advantage to act like small robot or pet in a given family, with it remote control option it can be send to any corner of the room where it won't go when in self-guiding mode, it low speed make the all S.G.V very manoeuvrable when in remote controlled mode
