Specifically, the charging equipment 200 may be provided with a charging cable 201 capable of charging the mobile body 100. For example, when the charging cable 201 remains connected to the substitute mobile body 300, the charging cable 201 connected to the substitute mobile body 300 may be connected to the mobile body 100, but is not limited to this. When the charging cable 201 is connected to the mobile body 100, charging of the mobile body 100 is performed. In this way, the determination unit 104 may determine that the user has started using the substitute mobile body 300 when the charging cable 201 is connected to the mobile body 100. The determination unit 104 may determine that the user has started using the substitute mobile body 300 when the substitute mobile body 300 has started traveling. In this case, it is preferable that the determination unit 104 and the management device 1 can communicate with each other via the network 5. The determination result by the determination unit 104 can be stored in the storage unit 11. Furthermore, the determination result by the determination unit 104 can be used to help the management device 1 manage the substitute moving body 300.
The charging equipment 200 may charge the mobile body 100 using, for example, renewable energy power, which is power supplied from a power generation facility (not shown) that generates power using a renewable energy source. The charging equipment 200 may also charge the mobile body 100 using non-renewable energy power that is not renewable energy power. As described above, the management device 1 may be provided with an information providing unit 105. The information providing unit 105 may provide the user with information indicating the proportion of renewable energy power in the amount of power charged to the mobile body 100 by the charging equipment 200. That is, the information providing unit 105 may provide the user terminal 3 with information indicating the renewable energy usage ratio. The information indicating the renewable energy usage ratio is displayed on a display unit 35 provided in the user terminal 3. The information indicating the renewable energy usage ratio may be calculated in the management device 1 or in the charging equipment 200. When charging the mobile body 100 is performed by the charging equipment 200, time-course measurement data is acquired that indicates whether the power used for the charging is renewable energy power or non-renewable energy power. In addition, when charging the mobile body 100 is performed by the charging equipment 200, time-course measurement data is acquired that indicates the power being supplied to the mobile body 100. Based on the time-course measurement data acquired in this manner, the renewable energy usage ratio can be calculated.
As described above, the management device 1 may be provided with a recommended route suggestion unit 106. The recommended route suggestion unit 106 suggests a recommended route for the user to travel using the substitute mobile body 300. When the mobile body 100 is being charged by the charging facility 200, the user may travel using the substitute mobile body 300. The recommended route suggestion unit 106 may provide the user terminal 3 with recommended route information, which is information on a recommended route recommended for the user to travel using the substitute mobile body 300. The recommended route may include, for example, a route that passes through a tourist spot, but is not limited to this. Furthermore, one recommended route may be proposed, or multiple recommended routes may be proposed. The recommended route information may be stored in the storage unit 11 in advance. Furthermore, the recommended route may be changed as appropriate based on the congestion status of tourist spots, etc.
The charging equipment 200 is preferably provided at a store (dealer) that sells the mobile unit 100. In this case, there is an advantage that the mobile unit 100 can be repaired, inspected, and maintained while it is being charged. If a new product sold by the store is used as the substitute mobile unit 300, the substitute mobile unit 300 can be rented out to users so that the new product can be tried out, which can contribute to promoting sales of the new product.
