Abstract

A content presentation method and apparatus, and a device and a storage medium. The method is implemented at a client of a target participant, and comprises: presenting a content display page associated with a target session; and presenting a set of media content items on the content display page, wherein the set of media content items comprises media content items, which are respectively published by a plurality of participants of the target session of the current application outside the target session, and the target participant is at least one of the plurality of participants.

Method, device, equipment and storage medium for content presentation

This application claims priority to the Chinese invention patent application entitled “Methods, devices, equipment and storage media for content presentation” filed on September 28, 2022 and application number 202211193819.5, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application.

Technical Field

Example embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to the field of computers, and more particularly, to methods, devices, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage media for content presentation.

Background technique

Currently, more and more applications are designed to provide users with various services. For example, users can create, browse, comment on, and forward various types of content in content sharing applications, including media content such as text, video, image, image collection, sound, etc. In addition, content sharing applications also allow users to communicate.

Summary of the invention

In a first aspect of the present disclosure, a method for content presentation is provided. The method is implemented on a client of a target participant, and includes: presenting a content presentation page associated with a target session; and presenting a media content item collection in the content presentation page, the media content item collection including media content items published by multiple participants of the target session outside the target session of the current application, wherein the target participant is at least one of the multiple participants.

In a second aspect of the present disclosure, a device for content presentation is provided. The device is implemented on a client of a target participant, and includes: a first presentation module configured to present a content presentation page associated with a target session; and a second presentation module configured to present a set of media content items in the content presentation page, the set of media content items including media content items published by multiple participants of the target session outside the target session of the current application, wherein the set of media content items includes media content items published by multiple participants of the target session outside the target session of the current application, The target participant is at least one of the multiple participants.

In a third aspect of the present disclosure, an electronic device is provided. The device includes at least one processing unit; and at least one memory, the at least one memory is coupled to the at least one processing unit and stores instructions for execution by the at least one processing unit. When the instructions are executed by the at least one processing unit, the device executes the method of the first aspect.

In a fourth aspect of the present disclosure, a computer-readable storage medium is provided, wherein a computer program is stored on the medium, and when the computer program is executed by a processor, the method of the first aspect is implemented.

Detailed ways

Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Although certain embodiments of the present disclosure are shown in the accompanying drawings, it should be understood that the present disclosure can be implemented in various forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments set forth herein. On the contrary, these embodiments are provided to provide a more thorough and complete understanding of the present disclosure. It should be understood that the drawings and embodiments of the present disclosure are only for exemplary purposes and are not intended to limit the scope of protection of the present disclosure.

In the description of the embodiments of the present disclosure, the term "including" and similar terms should be understood as open inclusion, that is, "including but not limited to". The term "based on" should be understood as "based at least in part on". The term "one embodiment" or "the embodiment" should be understood as "at least one embodiment". The term "some embodiments" should be understood as "at least some embodiments". Other explicit and implicit definitions may also be included below.

It is understandable that the data involved in this technical solution (including but not limited to the data itself, the acquisition or use of the data) shall comply with the requirements of relevant laws, regulations and relevant provisions.

It is understandable that before using the technical solutions disclosed in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the types, scope of use, usage scenarios, etc. of the personal information involved in the present disclosure should be informed to the user and the user's authorization should be obtained in an appropriate manner in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

For example, in response to receiving an active request from a user, a prompt message is sent to the user to clearly prompt the user that the operation requested to be performed will require obtaining and using the user's personal information, so that the user can independently choose whether to provide personal information to software or hardware such as electronic devices, applications, servers or storage media that perform operations of the technical solution of the present disclosure based on the prompt message.

As an optional but non-limiting implementation, in response to receiving the user's active request, the prompt information is sent to the user in a pop-up window, for example, in which the prompt information is presented in text form. In addition, the pop-up window may also carry information for the user to Select the opt-in control to “agree” or “disagree” to provide personal information to electronic devices.

It is understandable that the above notification and the process of obtaining user authorization are merely illustrative and do not constitute a limitation on the implementation of the present disclosure. Other methods that meet relevant laws and regulations may also be applied to the implementation of the present disclosure.

Fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of an example environment 100 in which an embodiment of the present disclosure can be implemented. In this example environment 100, an application 120 is installed in a terminal device 110. A user 140 can interact with the application 120 via the terminal device 110 and/or an attached device of the terminal device 110. The application 120 can be a social application, such as a content sharing application. The application 120 can provide one or more services related to media content items to the user 140, including the creation, release, browsing, commenting, forwarding, etc. of media content items. In this article, "media content items" include one or more types of content, such as images, image sets, videos, animated images, audio, text, etc.

In the environment 100 of FIG. 1 , if the application 120 is active, the terminal device 110 may present a page 150 of the application 120. The page 150 may include various pages that the application 120 may provide, such as a personal homepage, a details page of media content, a content creation page, a content publishing page, a message page, etc. The application 120 may provide content creation functions, including shooting, uploading, editing and/or publishing media content items.

In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 communicates with the server 130 to provide the service of the application 120. The terminal device 110 can be any type of mobile terminal, fixed terminal or portable terminal, including mobile phones, desktop computers, laptop computers, notebook computers, netbook computers, tablet computers, media computers, multimedia tablets, personal communication systems (PCS) devices, personal navigation devices, personal digital assistants (PDAs), audio/video players, digital cameras/camcorders, positioning devices, television receivers, radio broadcast receivers, e-book devices, gaming devices, or any combination of the foregoing, including accessories and peripherals of these devices or any combination thereof. In some embodiments, the terminal device 110 can also support any type of interface for the user (such as "wearable" circuits, etc.). The server 130 can be various types of computing systems/servers that can provide computing power, including but not limited to mainframes, edge computing nodes, computing devices in cloud environments, and the like.

It should be understood that the structure and function of the various elements in the environment 100 are described for exemplary purposes only and do not imply any limitation on the scope of the present disclosure.

In content sharing applications, in addition to supporting users to share content, users can also establish conversational communication. For example, a user can initiate a conversation with one or more other users, including a one-to-one conversation (also called a private chat or a single chat) or a many-to-many conversation (also called a group chat). Providing a conversational communication function can facilitate user communication and enhance the emotions between users. Usually, there is no correlation between the content communicated in a user conversation and the content created and published by the user in the application. Specifically, the conversation page aggregates the message content sent by multiple users participating in the conversation. A user may need to browse the media content published by other users in the content stream of the application or enter the personal homepage of other users to view the media content published by other users. Such a content presentation method is difficult to provide a unique relationship experience between specific user groups, such as private chat users or group chat users.

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an improved solution for content presentation is proposed. In the solution, in a page associated with a specific session, media content items published by multiple participants of the session outside the session are presented in an aggregated manner. Compared with the individual presentation of content published by different users, the content presentation method provided in the present disclosure can achieve the aggregate presentation of content published by the session participants, so that users can obtain content related to specific friends.

Some example embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below with continued reference to the accompanying drawings.

2 shows a flow chart of a process 200 for content presentation according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The process 200 may be implemented at a client of a target participant, for example, at a terminal device 110. For ease of discussion, the process 200 will be described with reference to the environment 100 of FIG. 1 .

In block 210 , the terminal device 110 presents a content presentation page associated with the target session.

In some embodiments, a specific application, such as application 120, is run on the terminal device 110, and various pages of application 120 are presented. The presentation of the page may be based on the user's operation. Application 120 may provide communication services between users. In application 120, for example, a user may create one or more sessions, each of which may correspond to a chat with a different user and/or group. For example, a session may correspond to a user communicating with another specific user. In some embodiments, a conversation may be a single chat of a user, or a conversation may correspond to a group chat of more than two users. The users participating in the conversation are referred to as participants of the conversation in this article. For example, a single chat may include two participants, and a group chat may include more than two participants. In the following, the terms "participant" and "user" are used interchangeably.

In this document, the session involved in process 200 is referred to as a “target session.” The target session usually involves multiple participants, and the target participant on terminal device 110 is at least one of the multiple participants.

In addition, as will be mentioned below, application 120 can also allow users to create and publish media content items. "Media content items" can include one or more types of content, such as images, image collections, videos, animated images, audio, text, etc. Users at terminal device 110 can view their own created and published media content items, and can also view media content items published by other specific users (if they have access rights).

In the case of providing a session function, other associated pages may be presented in the target session page for sending and receiving messages based on user selection. Examples of such pages may include a setting page corresponding to the target session, in which one or more setting functions for the target session may be provided.

For ease of understanding, the following description will be made with reference to the example pages of the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the pages illustrated in the accompanying drawings are merely examples, and various different page designs may actually exist. The various graphical elements in the page may have different arrangements, different names, and different visual representations, one or more of which may be omitted or replaced, and one or more other elements may also exist. The embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited in this respect.

FIG3A shows an example conversation page 300 of the application 120. The conversation page 300 provides a single chat conversation window between a user (e.g., "user A") of the application 120 and another user (e.g., "user B"). Assume that the conversation page 300 is presented to the user "user A" at the terminal device 110, who is called the target participant of the conversation. At the terminal device of "user B", the conversation page presented there may be slightly different, for example, the messages of the two parties in the conversation are presented in different positions on the page.

The conversation page 300 can support the sending and receiving of messages by the participants of the conversation, and can present the messages in the conversation. The messages can include various types of content, such as text, images, videos, etc. Video, link, etc. These contents may include content uploaded by the user locally or taken in real time, shared content, forwarded content, etc. In some examples, the conversation page 300 also supports other communication methods of the participants, such as voice communication, video communication, etc.

FIG4A shows another example conversation page 400 of application 120. Conversation page 400 provides a group chat conversation window of "user A" of application 120 and multiple other users (e.g., "user B" and "user C"). Assume that conversation page 400 is presented to user "user A" at terminal device 110, who is called the target participant of the conversation. At the terminal devices of other participants in the group chat, the conversation page presented may be slightly different, for example, the presentation positions of the messages of the two parties in the conversation are different in the page. The content presentation of the conversation page of the group chat can be similar to the content presentation of the conversation page of the single chat, which will not be repeated here.

In some embodiments, an entry to a setting page corresponding to the target session may be provided in the session page of the target session. For example, the "session setting" entry 301 in the session page of FIG. 3A and the "session setting" entry 401 in the session page of FIG. 4A. If a selection of the entry is detected, a setting page corresponding to the target session may be presented, such as the setting page 302 in FIG. 3B or the setting page 402 in FIG. 4B. The setting page may provide one or more setting functions for the target session.

For example, in the example of FIG. 3B , the setting page 302 corresponding to the single chat provides a "multi-person chat" function 312 for initiating a group chat with more users; a "pin to top" function 314 for pinning the current session to the top of the session flow; a "do not disturb" function 316 for enabling and disabling new message reminders for the current session; and a "more" function 318 for expanding more functions that can be set for the current session. In the example of FIG. 4B , the setting page 402 corresponding to the group chat provides an "invite" function 412 for inviting more users to join the group chat; a "share group chat" function 414 for sharing the current group chat with other users; a "do not disturb" function 416 for enabling and disabling new message reminders for the current session; and a "more" function 418 for expanding more functions that can be set for the current session. Of course, only example functions in the setting page of the session are given here, and different setting pages can be designed as needed in actual applications.

Referring back to FIG. 2 , at block 220 , a set of media content items is presented in the content presentation page. The presented set of media content items includes multiple participants in the target session of the current application. Media content items that are published separately outside of the target session.

The media content items published by the participants outside the target session do not include the media content items sent as messages in the target session, but may include the media content items created and published by the participants through the content publishing page of the application. Such media content items are sometimes also referred to as "works". Generally, the users participating in the session may create and send one or more media content items of their own in the current application. In some embodiments, the media content items published by each user can be viewed by accessing the personal pages of each user. Alternatively, the media content items published by multiple users may also be pushed as content streams in a specific page of the application.

In an embodiment of the present disclosure, a specific content display page also provides an aggregate presentation of media content items posted by users in the session outside the session. In some embodiments, the presented media content items may include non-text media content items, such as images, image collections, videos, animated images, etc. In some embodiments, such a content display page may include a setting page for the session.

For example, FIG3B shows that in area 320 of the setting page 302 corresponding to the session of “User A” and “User B”, a collection of media content items published by two session participants “User A” and “User B” outside the current session is presented. FIG4B shows that in area 420 of the setting page 402, a collection of media content items published by three session participants “User A”, “User B” and “User C” in the group chat group outside the current session is presented.

This presentation method can provide a content aggregation space for a specific user group, allowing users to browse the content they publish and the content published by one or more friends at the same time. For example, in the example of Figure 3B, "User A" can browse the exclusive content aggregation space with "User B", and in the example of Figure 3B, "User A" can browse the exclusive content aggregation space of the group of three people with "User B" and "User C". This provides convenience for viewing the works of members of a specific group.

Although the example embodiment in the accompanying drawings shows that a set of media content items published by multiple participants outside the target session is presented in the setting page corresponding to the target session. In some embodiments, in addition to the setting page corresponding to the target session, the set of media content items can also be presented in other appropriate content display pages. For example, in the setting page associated with the target session, Such a collection of media content items may be presented in a separate page of the session, the entry of which may be set in the session page or in other pages. For example, the separate page may not provide functions related to session settings as shown in FIG. 3B or FIG. 4B, but directly presents a collection of media content items aggregated from multiple participants.

In some embodiments, a media content item set from multiple parties can be presented in a tiled view, such as the tiled view in the examples of Figures 3B and 4B. In some embodiments, a media content item set can also be presented in other views, such as stacked views. In some embodiments, a media content item set can be organized into image sets or videos, etc., and can be automatically played or manually played based on user operations.

In some embodiments, when presenting a collection of media content items from multiple participants, the media content items in the collection are mixed and arranged based on one or more preset types of attributes of the media content items. In some embodiments, such attributes may include time attributes, such as the release time of the media content items. Such an arrangement allows the user to see a mixed arrangement of his or her own works and those of other friends on the timeline.

In certain embodiments, when media content items are mixed and arranged based on time attribute, each media content item in the media content item set can be presented in the order of reverse time.That is to say, in the media content items of multiple participants, the media content items that are issued closer to the current time can be arranged and presented in a more forward position, and the media content items that are more distant from the release time can be arranged and presented in a more backward position.For example, in the zone 320 of page 302 or the zone 420 of page 402, the corresponding media content item set of the participant can be presented in the reverse order of release time in the order from left to right and from top to bottom.The media content item that is positioned at the upper left corner of the region is the latest media content item.In other embodiments, each media content item in the media content item set can also be presented in the order of chronological order based on the release time.Like this, the media content items that are more distant from the release time can be arranged and presented in a more forward position.

In some embodiments, in addition to or as an alternative to the release time, the media content items of multiple participants may be arranged based on other types of attributes related to the media content items. For example, the media content items may be arranged additionally or alternatively based on the popularity of each media content item (e.g., the number of likes, the number of views, etc.), the media content items' relationship with the target participant, and the like. These different arrangements can be configured according to practical applications, and the scope of the embodiments of the present disclosure is not limited in this respect.

In some embodiments, each participant of the target session, as a creator, can set the access rights of the media content item as needed when publishing a certain media content item. The access rights may include full public access rights, partial public access rights, or prohibited public access rights. A media content item with full public access rights can be accessed by any other user. A media content item with partial public access rights can be accessed by one or more specified users. A media content item with prohibited public access rights may only be accessible by the creator himself.

In the case where the access rights of media content items can be set, when the media content items of multiple participants are aggregated and presented, if the current page is to be presented to a target participant among the multiple participants, the media content items in the presented media content item set can be determined based on the target participant's access rights to the media content items. Specifically, in the page presented to the target participant, the presented media content item set includes media content items to which the target participant has access rights. It should be noted that the user's access rights to the work can be changed, and thus the content of the presented media content item set also changes with the access rights. For example, the access rights can be changed based on the user's forwarding operation. The target work that was originally accessible only to the creator himself, after being forwarded by the creator to the target session, each participant in the target session has the access rights to the target work, and each participant can also see the target work in the media content item set presented on the content display page.

Usually, it can be considered that the target participant has access rights to the media content items that he/she publishes. For another participant in the target session, depending on the setting of the access rights of the media content items that the other participant publishes, the target participant may be able to access some or all of the media content items that the other participant publishes. This part of the media content items that the target participant can access can be presented in the corresponding page. Based on the access rights, the media content item sets presented will be different in the pages viewed by different users.

In some embodiments, the server of application 120 may filter the media content items that can be presented in the page presented to the target participant based on the access rights, and provide the set of media content items that the target participant has access rights to the terminal device 110 for presentation. In some embodiments, the presentable media content item set may also be filtered based on the access rights at the terminal device 110 or other appropriate device.

In some embodiments, the media content items published by the target participant or other participants may contain information related to the target participant. For example, in some applications, the user may mention the target participant when publishing a certain media content item, such as by using the “@” symbol + the user name of the target participant to remind the target participant, so that the target participant can receive notifications related to the media content item.

In certain embodiments, when the media content item set of multiple participants is presented in aggregation, the media content item with a specific association relationship with the target participant can be identified by a specific identifier. These predetermined identifiers can be presented in the content display page in association with the corresponding media content item. For example, in the example of Fig. 3 B, the media content item mentioning the target participant (i.e. "user A") is identified by identifier 322-1, and the media content item containing the label of at least one target participant or the interactive operation such as the target participant participating in comments is identified by identifier 322-2, wherein at least one target participant label can be added by the publisher of the media content item when creating the media content item. Similarly, in the example of Fig. 4 B, the media content item mentioning the target participant (i.e. "user A") is identified by identifier 422-1, and the media content item containing the target participant label or the interactive operation such as the target participant participating in comments is identified by identifier 422-2. Further, by triggering identifier 322-1, identifier 322-2, all media content items under this identifier category can be displayed.

In addition to mentioning the target party, other information related to the target party can also be identified in the media content item. For example, the target party can have interactive behaviors with a certain media content item, such as commenting, liking, and forwarding. In some embodiments, the target party's interactive behaviors can be identified in the presented media content item, such as the number of comments, the number of likes, whether to forward, the number of forwardings, etc.

In some embodiments, the set of media content items to present the target participant can also be determined based on the association relationship between the media content item and the target participant. In some embodiments, the association relationship between the media content item and the target participant can be determined based on whether the media content item mentions the target participant. The association relationship between the media content item and the target participant meets the preset conditions. In some embodiments, the association relationship between the media content item and the target participant can also be determined based on the interaction history between the target participant and the media content item. The target participant's interaction behaviors such as comments, likes, and forwarding with a certain media content item can be used to indicate the association relationship between the target participant and the media content item. The more comments, the more likes, and the more forwardings exceed the preset value, it can indicate that the media content item and the target participant meet the preset association relationship.

In some embodiments, the set of media content items presented in the content display page associated with the target session may include media content items whose association relationship with the target participant meets the preset condition. In some examples, for some other participant, it can be determined that the association relationship of the media content items published by the other participant with the target participant meets the preset condition, and therefore the other participant may be included in the set of media content items presented.

In some embodiments, the target participant can also be allowed to screen the media content items to be presented as needed. The target participant can provide a content screening indication to indicate the media content items that can be included in the media content item set to be presented. In some embodiments, the content screening indication can indicate the expected association relationship between the media content item and the target participant, such as a specific association relationship type, etc. In some embodiments, the content screening indication can indicate one or more interested parties in a plurality of participants of the target session. The target participant may expect to be able to mix and display the aggregation of the media content items that he or she publishes with these interested parties. By providing the content screening indication, the target participant can screen out the media content items of interest with other users as needed and aggregate, which will be particularly beneficial when the media content items published by a plurality of participants are more and/or the session participants are more. Further, the content screening indication can also indicate the label comprising at least one target participant or the media content items comprising the target participant participating in interactive operations such as comments.

In some embodiments, a filtering control may be provided in the page to facilitate the user (e.g., the target participant) to input content filtering instructions. For example, in page 302 of FIG. 3B , a “Filter Moments” control 330 is provided. If this control is selected, as shown in FIG. 3C , a drop-down menu 332 including multiple filtering options may be provided, wherein an “Only @ Me” option 342 is used to filter media content items that mention the target participant, and an “Only Me Moments” option 344 is used to filter interactions such as those that contain the target participant’s tag or that contain the target participant’s participation in comments. The “all moments with user B” option 346 is used to indicate that all media content items posted by user B are to be retained.

Similarly, a filter "Filter Moments" control 430 is also provided in page 302 of FIG. 4B. If the control is selected, as shown in FIG. 4C, a drop-down menu 432 including multiple filter options may be provided, wherein the "@ me only" option 432 and the "only my moments" option 444 are similar to the example of FIG. 3C, and the "all moments with TA" option 446 is used to filter the interested parties among the multiple other parties in the group, which includes sub-options corresponding to the multiple other parties, such as the "user B" sub-option 452 and the "user C" sub-option 454. Through option 446 and its sub-options, the target party (e.g., user A) can filter out the media content items of the users of interest in the group chat, and can hide the media content items of the users of no interest.

In some embodiments, in the current page associated with the target session, in addition to the media content item set (sometimes referred to as "first media content item set" for ease of discussion) published by multiple participants of the aggregation session outside the session, the media content items involved in the target session can also be aggregated into another media content item set (sometimes referred to as "second media content item set" for ease of discussion) for presentation. In some embodiments, the media content items sent by multiple participants in the target session can be aggregated into another media content item set. The media content items sent in the session can be media content items uploaded by the participants locally to the target session. In some embodiments, the media content items shared by multiple participants in the target session can be aggregated into another media content item set. The shared media content items can be, for example, media content items published in application 120 and/or other associated applications. In some embodiments, the media content item set to be presented can include non-text messages sent or shared in the target session, such as images, image sets, videos, animated images, etc.

By presenting different sets of media content items, in the page associated with the target session, the user can not only browse the aggregation of works published by himself and his friends, but also view the media content items involved in the history of the current session.

In some embodiments, multiple navigation tags may be set in a page associated with a target session, and different navigation tags may navigate to different media content collections.

5A to 5C show the settings page 302 corresponding to the single chat session in FIG. 3A. An example of further setting multiple navigation tags. In this example, the navigation tag "Moments" 510 corresponds to a collection of media content items published by multiple participants of the target session outside the target session; the navigation tag "Chat Album" 520 corresponds to a collection of media content items sent by multiple participants in the target session; and the navigation tag "Shared Content" 530 corresponds to a collection of media content items shared by multiple participants in the target session.

In response to detecting the selection of a certain navigation tag in the page, a corresponding set of media content items can be presented. For example, in the example of Figure 5A, assuming that the navigation tag "Moments" 510 in page 302 is selected by default, a set of media content items corresponding to the navigation tag can be presented when switching to page 302. In the example of Figure 5B, if the user selects the navigation tag "Chat Album" 520, the local media content items sent to each other by "User A" and "User B" in the single chat during the session are presented. In the example of Figure 5C, if the user selects the navigation tag "Shared Content" 530, the media content items shared by "User A" and "User B" from other data sources during the session are presented.

In certain embodiments, the presentation mode of the media content item set sent by multiple participants in the target session and the media content item set shared can be similar to the presentation mode of the media content item set issued by multiple participants outside the target session. For example, it can be arranged in a chronological or reverse chronological order based on the release time of the media content item (for example, the sending time in the session, the sharing time, etc.). These media content item sets can be presented in a page with a tiled view, other views or in other ways.

Although the examples of Figures 5A to 5C present the media content items sent and shared by multiple participants in the target session in different media content item collections, in some embodiments, these media content items may also be mixed in a single media content item collection and presented, for example, by setting a single navigation tab in the page and presenting the mixed media content item collection when the navigation tab is selected.

For the group chat session as shown in FIGS. 4A to 4C , although not specifically shown in the drawings, different sets of media content items may also be presented in a similar manner as discussed with respect to FIGS. 5A to 5C .

In some embodiments, when a collection of media content items published by multiple participants of a target session outside the target session is presented, the user is also allowed to click to view a specific media content item. For example, if a selection of a certain media content item is detected, a detail page corresponding to the media content item may be presented. For example, FIG. 6A shows a detail page 602 of a certain selected media content item.

In some embodiments, if a certain media content item is selected for detailed viewing, it is also possible to switch to a content stream mode to browse a media content item set. Specifically, each media content item in the media content item set can be organized into a content stream. A content stream can be a long page composed of media content items, a video merged by media content items, and other stream forms. These media content items can be organized in a reverse chronological order or in a sequential order based on the release time.

If a specific switching operation is detected in the details page of the currently presented media content item, the content stream is switched to the details page corresponding to another media content item adjacent to the currently presented media content item in sequence. As an example, the switching operation may include, for example, a specific gesture (e.g., a sliding gesture), a sliding operation on a specific switching control, a voice control instruction, a triggering of a hardware button, etc. The embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited in this respect.

As an example, in an information stream organized in reverse chronological order, if the detected switching operation includes an upward sliding gesture to switch to an earlier released media content, then the content stream can be switched to an earlier released media content item adjacent to the current media content item. For example, if an upward sliding gesture is detected in the detail page 602 shown in FIG. 6A , it can be switched to the detail page 604 of another media content item as shown in FIG. 6B . In this way, the user can browse different media content items sequentially in the content stream mode.

In some embodiments, for a collection of media content items sent by multiple participants in a target session and/or a collection of media content items shared in the target session, the details page of a single media content item can be viewed in a similar manner, and the detailed information of other media content items can be browsed sequentially in content streaming mode.

7 shows a schematic structural block diagram of an apparatus 700 for content presentation according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The apparatus 700 may be implemented as or included in a terminal device 110. Each module/component in the apparatus 700 may be implemented by hardware, software, firmware, or any combination thereof.

The apparatus 700 includes a first presentation module 710 configured to present a content presentation page associated with a target session. The apparatus 700 also includes a second presentation module 720 configured to present a content presentation page associated with a target session. A collection of media content items is presented in the content display page, and the collection of media content items includes media content items published by multiple participants of the target session of the current application outside the target session, wherein the target participant is at least one of the multiple participants.

In some embodiments, a page is presented to a target participant of multiple participants, and the media content items in the media content item set are determined based on at least one of the following: the target participant's access rights to the media content items, the association between the media content items and the target participant, and the content screening instructions of the target participant.

In some embodiments, the content screening indication is used to indicate at least one of the following: an expected association relationship between the media content item and the target party, and one or more interested parties among the multiple parties.

In some embodiments, the second presentation module includes: an identification presentation module configured to present a preset identifier in association with a media content item in the media content item set, wherein the preset identifier indicates an association relationship between the media content item and the target participant.

In some embodiments, the second presentation module 720 includes: a time-based presentation module configured to mix and arrange media content items of multiple participants based on preset attributes of the media content items in the media content item set.

In some embodiments, the second presentation module 720 includes: a first presentation module based on a navigation tag, configured to present a set of media content items in response to detecting a selection of a first navigation tag among a plurality of navigation tags in a content presentation page.

In some embodiments, the media content item set includes a first media content item set. The device 700 further includes: a second presentation module based on a navigation tag, configured to present a second media content item set in response to detecting a selection of a second navigation tag among the plurality of navigation tags, the second media content item set including at least one of the following: media content items sent by multiple participants in the target session, and media content items shared by multiple participants in the target session.

In some embodiments, the apparatus 700 further includes: a detail page presenting module configured to present a first detail page corresponding to the first media content item in response to detecting a selection of the first media content item in the set of media content items.

In some embodiments, the media content items in the media content item set are organized into content streams. The apparatus 700 further includes: a detail page switching module configured to, in response to a first detail page switching module, A switching operation is detected in the detail page, and the page is switched to a second detail page corresponding to a second media content item adjacent to the first media content item in the content stream.

In some embodiments, the content display page includes a settings page corresponding to the target session.

FIG8 shows a block diagram of an electronic device 800 in which one or more embodiments of the present disclosure may be implemented. It should be understood that the electronic device 800 shown in FIG8 is merely exemplary and should not constitute any limitation on the functionality and scope of the embodiments described herein. The electronic device 800 shown in FIG8 may be used to implement the terminal device 110 of FIG1 .

As shown in FIG8 , the electronic device 800 is in the form of a general electronic device. The components of the electronic device 800 may include, but are not limited to, one or more processors or processing units 810, a memory 820, a storage device 830, one or more communication units 840, one or more input devices 850, and one or more output devices 860. The processing unit 810 may be an actual or virtual processor and is capable of performing various processes according to a program stored in the memory 820. In a multi-processor system, multiple processing units execute computer executable instructions in parallel to improve the parallel processing capability of the electronic device 800.

The electronic device 800 typically includes a plurality of computer storage media. Such media may be any available media accessible to the electronic device 800, including but not limited to volatile and non-volatile media, removable and non-removable media. The memory 820 may be a volatile memory (e.g., a register, a cache, a random access memory (RAM)), a non-volatile memory (e.g., a read-only memory (ROM), an electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM), flash memory), or some combination thereof. The storage device 830 may be a removable or non-removable medium, and may include a machine-readable medium, such as a flash drive, a disk, or any other medium, which may be capable of being used to store information and/or data (e.g., training data for training) and may be accessed within the electronic device 800.

The electronic device 800 may further include additional removable/non-removable, volatile/non-volatile storage media. Although not shown in FIG. 8 , a disk drive for reading or writing from a removable, non-volatile disk (e.g., a “floppy disk”) and an optical drive for reading or writing from a removable, non-volatile optical disk may be provided. In these cases, each drive may be connected to the bus (not shown) by one or more data media interfaces. The memory 820 may include a computer program product 828 having one or more program modules. These program modules are configured to execute various methods or actions of various embodiments of the present disclosure.

The communication unit 840 implements communication with other electronic devices through a communication medium. Additionally, the functions of the components of the electronic device 800 can be implemented with a single computing cluster or multiple computing machines that can communicate through a communication connection. Therefore, the electronic device 800 can operate in a networked environment using a logical connection with one or more other servers, a network personal computer (PC), or another network node.

The input device 850 may be one or more input devices, such as a mouse, a keyboard, a tracking ball, etc. The output device 860 may be one or more output devices, such as a display, a speaker, a printer, etc. The electronic device 800 may also communicate with one or more external devices (not shown) through the communication unit 840 as needed, such as a storage device, a display device, etc., communicate with one or more devices that allow a user to interact with the electronic device 800, or communicate with any device that allows the electronic device 800 to communicate with one or more other electronic devices (e.g., a network card, a modem, etc.). Such communication may be performed via an input/output (I/O) interface (not shown).

According to an exemplary implementation of the present disclosure, a computer-readable storage medium is provided, on which computer-executable instructions are stored, wherein the computer-executable instructions are executed by a processor to implement the method described above. According to an exemplary implementation of the present disclosure, a computer program product is also provided, which is tangibly stored on a non-transitory computer-readable medium and includes computer-executable instructions, and the computer-executable instructions are executed by a processor to implement the method described above.

Presenting a set of media content items in the content display page, the set of media content items including media content items published by multiple participants of the target session respectively outside the target session of the current application;

The target participant is at least one of the multiple participants.
The method according to claim 1, wherein the media content items in the set of media content items are determined based on at least one of the following:

The target party's access rights to the media content item,

the association relationship between the media content item and the target participant,

The target party's content screening instructions.
