Description

Monitoring device, monitoring method and monitoring program
The present invention relates to a watching device, a watching method, and a watching program.
Recently, in developed countries, it has become common for elderly people living alone to be watched over by guardians from a remote location. In particular, when the person being watched over may develop dementia, it is important to know the signs as soon as possible to prevent the onset of dementia.
In the dementia information output system of Patent Document 1, sensors placed around the bed of the person being watched over measure the amount of body movement of the person being watched over every hour 24 times a day. When the person being watched over is in good health, the time period during which the amount of body movement is measured is concentrated from morning to night in one day. When the person being watched over develops dementia, the time periods in which the amount of body movement is measured span almost all days, and the amount of body movement in each time period becomes irregular. The system detects such characteristics of the amount of body movement and predicts the onset of dementia in the person being watched over.
Patent No. 6631931
It is difficult to accurately predict the possibility of developing dementia in elderly people based only on the amount of body movement. For example, it is essential for accurate prediction to know whether the person being watched is doing enough activities to prevent dementia, such as going out, doing housework, eating, and sleeping. In other words, it is important to measure what the person being watched over does and to what extent, in other words, to measure the contents of the activity both quantitatively and qualitatively. The same is true for predicting decline in physical and cognitive function. However, the dementia information output system of Patent Literature 1 only quantitatively measures body movements of the person being watched over.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to quantitatively and qualitatively measure the activity of the person being watched over.

The quantitative life index in the quantitative life index column 102 is an index that quantitatively indicates the body movement of the person being watched 5 regardless of the mode of going out, exercising, housework, eating, sleeping, etc. Specifically, , including:
- The amount of activity (column 102a) is an integrated value of the activation level of the body of the person being watched over 5 . The amount of activity can be measured by the sensor 2 (human sensor), and can also be measured by a wearable sensor (not shown) worn by the person being watched over 5 . "#" abbreviates the measured value (same below).
The in-room movement speed (column 102b) is the average speed at which the person-to-be-watched 5 moved in each room in the residence 6 including the bedroom 6a, the entrance 6b, and the kitchen 6c. For example, it is assumed that the person 5 to be watched over twice in a certain time zone first moves 5 meters in the living room for 30 seconds, and after a while moves 5 meters in the living room for 30 seconds. In this case, the moving speed in the room during that time period is 600 meters per hour. The moving speed within the room can be measured by the sensor 2 having a camera function.
The moving speed between rooms (column 102c) is the average speed at which the person-to-be-watched 5 moved between rooms in the residence 6 including the bedroom 6a, the entrance 6b and the kitchen 6c. For example, when the person being watched 5 moves 10 meters in a hallway for one minute only once during a certain time period, the room-to-room movement speed during that time period is 600 meters per hour.
The posture change speed (column 102d) is the average speed at which a part of the body (head, waist, etc.) moves when the person being watched 5 is not moving (walking). The attitude change speed can be measured by a sensor 2 having a camera function.
- The number of falls (column 102e) is the number of times the person being watched over has fallen. The number of falls can be measured by the sensor 2 having a camera function, and can also be measured by a wearable sensor equipped with a three-dimensional accelerometer.

The qualitative life index in the qualitative life index column 103 is an index that indicates a qualitatively significant body movement of the person being watched over 5 from the viewpoint of preventing a frail state such as deterioration of physical function and cognitive function. Qualitative life indicators indicate the lifestyle of the person being watched as a whole, and include the following as individual specific indicators.
- The number of times of going out (column 103a) is the number of times the watched person 5 opened the door 10 and moved out of the residence 6. The number of times of going out can be measured by the door 10 .
- The exercise time (column 103b) is the time during which the person being watched 5 performs a predetermined exercise (gymnastics) to prevent a frail state. Exercise time can be measured by a sensor 2 having a camera function. The watching device 1 cuts out an image corresponding to a predetermined movement from the image captured by the sensor 2, for example, by pattern matching.

- The meal time (column 103d) is the time when the person-to-be-watched 5 is eating. A meal time can be measured by a sensor 2 having a camera function. The watching device 1 cuts out an image corresponding to a meal from the image captured by the sensor 2, for example, by pattern matching.
• The relaxation time (column 103e) is the time during which the person being watched 5 is relaxing. A specific mode of relaxation differs for each watched person 5 . Relaxation time can be, for example, "time spent reading", "time spent watching TV", "time spent searching the Internet", and the like. A relaxation time can be measured by a sensor 2 having a camera function. The watching device 1 cuts out an image corresponding to a specific mode of relaxation from the image captured by the sensor 2, for example, by pattern matching. The relaxation time can also be measured as the browser usage time by the terminal device 7 of the person being watched over. Furthermore, the relaxation time can also be measured by a wearable sensor as the time during which the respiratory rate, blood pressure, heart rate, etc. take values within a predetermined range.

Sleep time can be measured by a sensor 2 having a camera function. The watching device 1 cuts out an image corresponding to sleep from the image captured by the sensor 2, for example, by pattern matching. Sleeping time can also be measured by a hat-shaped wearable sensor as the time during which the electroencephalogram indicates sleep.
As is clear from the above, the number of times you go out, the time spent exercising, the time spent doing housework, the time spent eating, the time spent relaxing, and the time spent sleeping indicate the amount of "number of times" or "time". However, the qualitative life index composed of them is the quality of life (lifestyle) itself, which is what and how much one has done.

(Notification Rules)
FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of the notification rule 32. As shown in FIG. In the notification rule 32, the change ID stored in the change ID column 111 is associated with the change in life in the change ID column 112, the direction in the direction column 113, the priority in the priority column 114, and the notification destination. The column 115 stores notification flags, the notification content column 116 stores notification content, and the incentive column 117 stores incentives.
A change ID in the change ID column 111 is an identifier that uniquely identifies a lifestyle change (described immediately below).
The lifestyle change in the lifestyle change column 112 is a type of chronological change in the quantitative lifestyle index and/or the qualitative lifestyle index. For example, "the amount of activity has decreased by 10% compared to the last 5 days" corresponds to the change in the amount of activity (column 102a) in FIG. Similarly, "the number of times of going out has decreased by 30% compared to the last five days" corresponds to the change in the number of times of going out (column 103a) in FIG. “Meal time decreased by 10% compared to the last 5 days” corresponds to change in meal time (column 103d) in FIG. In this example, three lifestyle changes correspond to one change ID. The relationship among the three lifestyle changes may be "logical sum" or "logical product".
Furthermore, the lifestyle change may be "a third party comment includes a character string of '000'". After reflecting, it is possible to judge the necessity of notification (details will be described later).
The direction in direction column 113 is either "deteriorated" or "improved". "Worsening" means that the lifestyle change indicates progression of frailty, and "improvement" means that the lifestyle change indicates suppression of frailty or recovery from frailty.
The priority in the priority column 114 is the degree of seriousness of life change when the direction is "deterioration". The higher the number following "level", the greater the degree of seriousness. The sensor information processing unit 22 of the watching device 1 determines the priority based on, for example, the weighted average of the quantitative life indicators (columns 102a to 102e) and/or the qualitative life indicators (columns 103a to 103f) in FIG. good too.
The notification destination flag in the notification destination column 115 is "○" indicating the destination of the notification (hereinafter simply referred to as "notification") informing that there has been a lifestyle change. The notification is sent to the watching person's terminal device 3 and/or the watched person's terminal device 7 of the watched person 5 . “P” attached to “○” indicates push notification. When the watcher terminal device 3 or the watched person terminal device 7 receives the push notification, the reception of the notification is automatically displayed without receiving any special operation by the watcher or the watched person 7.
The notification content in the notification content column 116 is the content of the notification or the content of information attached to the notification, and specifically includes the following. An example of notification display will be described later.
- "lifestyle change" is the above-mentioned lifestyle change. The lifestyle change here collectively indicates a plurality of lifestyle changes (column 112) corresponding to the change ID.
- "Medical examination data" is past and present medical examination results of the person being watched over.
• "Advice" is a message to the person being watched to slow the progression of the infirmity if the direction is "Worse". The advice is desirably advice that prompts behavior change of the person being watched over.
• "Encouragement" is a message to the watchee to celebrate the suppression of or recovery from infirmity when the direction is "Improvement".
One or more notification contents are defined for each watcher and watched person. Note that one “advice” may be associated with one change ID, or may be associated with one lifestyle change. The same is true for “encouragement”.
The incentive in the incentive column 117 is the economic value (points) given to the watched person. For example, "100 points" are given as an initial balance to the person being watched over, and the incentive value is increased or decreased with respect to the balance each time a notice is given. If the direction is "worse", the sign of the incentive is "negative", and the higher the priority (level), the higher the absolute value. When the direction is "improvement", the sign of the incentive is "positive", and the greater the degree of lifestyle change, the greater the absolute value.
(Processing procedure)
FIG. 4 is a flow chart of the processing procedure. It is assumed that the environment shown in FIG. 1 has already been prepared as a prerequisite for starting the processing procedure.
In step S201, the sensor information processing unit 22 of the watching device 1 receives the notification rule 32 (FIG. 3). Specifically, input of the notification rule 32 by the watcher via the watcher's terminal device 3 or the input device 12 of the watching device 1 is accepted. The watcher may manually input the notification rule 32 in tabular form on the screen, or may cause the input device 12 to read already completed electronic data.
Any person other than the watcher can also enter the notification rule 32. If no one enters the notification rule 32, the sensor information processor 22 may automatically enter a completed standard notification rule 32 stored in any device.
The watcher may input a specific message (words of advice or encouragement) in association with one change ID or one life change. Then, the sensor information processing unit 22 stores the message in the auxiliary storage device 15 in association with one change ID or one life change. For convenience of explanation, it is assumed that the start time of the monitoring period (for example, 00:00:00 AM on the next day) has arrived thereafter.
In step S202, the sensor information acquisition unit 21 of the watching device 1 accepts the quantitative life index. Specifically, the sensor information acquisition unit 21 acquires (receives) quantitative life indices (columns 102a to 102e in FIG. 2) from the sensors 2 (including cameras and wearable sensors). The sensor information acquisition unit 21 continuously or intermittently executes the process until a predetermined time (1:00:00 am) that serves as a delimiter.
In step S203, the sensor information acquisition unit 21 accepts the quality of life index. Specifically, the sensor information acquisition unit 21 acquires quality life indicators (columns 103a to 103f in FIG. 2) from the sensor 2 (including a camera and a wearable sensor), the refrigerator 8, the cooking device 9, or the door 10. (receive). The sensor information acquisition unit 21 continuously or intermittently executes the process until a predetermined time (1:00:00 am) that serves as a delimiter. It is assumed that the timing of step S202 and the timing of step S203 are the same. For convenience of explanation, it is now assumed that "1:00:00 AM" has arrived.
In step S204, the sensor information processing unit 22 of the watching device 1 receives a third party comment. Specifically, first, the sensor information processing unit 22 sends the quantitative life index acquired in step S202 and the qualitative life index acquired in step S203 to a terminal device (not shown) operated by a third party. indicate.
Secondly, the sensor information processing unit 22 receives a third party's input of comments on the quantitative life index and the qualitative life index via a terminal device operated by the third party.
In step S205, the sensor information processing unit 22 creates a record of the life information 31 (Fig. 2). Specifically, the sensor information processing unit 22 creates a record for 00:00:00 to 1:00:00 based on the data received in steps S202, S203 and S204. Immediately after step S205, the sensor information processing unit 22 may perform the process of step S204 again. This is because, for example, there may be a third party comment that a third party can enter only after 24 hours in a day.
Steps S202 to S205 are repeated every hour (60 minutes). In the meantime, every time step S205 is passed, the records of life information 31 are accumulated in chronological order. During this time, the sensor information processing unit 22 constantly monitors each record of the lifestyle information 31 and checks whether or not the lifestyle change (column 112 in FIG. 3) of the notification rule 32 received in step S201 has occurred. For convenience of explanation, it is assumed that approximately one week has passed since the start time of the monitoring period, and the lifestyle change specified by the change ID “C01” (FIG. 3) has actually occurred.
In step S206, the sensor information processing unit 22 detects lifestyle changes. Specifically, the sensor information processing unit 22 detects the following <1> to <3> (logical product here) from the time-series records of the life information 31 (FIG. 2).
<1>Today's activity amount decreased by 10% compared to the average value for the last 5 days.
<2> The number of times I went out today decreased by 30% compared to the average value for the last 5 days.
<3>Today's meals decreased by 10% compared to the average value for the most recent 5 days.
The "average value" here may be replaced with "maximum value", "minimum value", "median value", and the like.
When "a third party comment includes a character string of '000'" is set as one of the lifestyle changes in FIG. You are judging gender.
In step S207, the sensor information processing unit 22 determines the notification destination and notification content. Specifically, the sensor information processing unit 22 searches the notification rule 32 (FIG. 3) using <1> to <3> as search keys, and the notification destination flag (column 115) and notification content (column 116). "P" may be added to the acquired notification destination flag. Here, "○" for the watched person is acquired as the notification destination flag, and "life change" and "advice" for the watched person are acquired as the notification contents.
In step S208, the sensor information processing unit 22 determines incentives. Specifically, first, the sensor information processing unit 22 searches the notification rule 32 (FIG. 3) using <1> to <3> as search keys, and acquires the incentive (column 117) of the corresponding record. . Here, "-10" is acquired.
Second, the sensor information processing unit 22 adds "-10" to the current incentive balance.
In step S209, the sensor information processing part 22 transmits a notification. Specifically, the sensor information processing unit 22 transmits a notification 41a (FIG. 5) to the terminal device 7 of the person being watched over. After that, the procedure ends.
There are multiple types of notifications. Hereinafter, display examples of notifications will be described.
FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of notification. A notification 41a in FIG. 5 is a notification sent to the terminal device 7 of the person being watched when the watching device 1 detects the change "C01". Life changes 42a, 42b and 42c and advices 43a, 43b and 43c are displayed in the notification 41a. Life changes 42a, 42b and 42c correspond to recommendations 43a, 43b and 43c, respectively. At the bottom of the notification 41a, the change ID, priority and points (increase/decrease from the previous time and balance) are displayed. The person being watched knows that the notification 41a has arrived by any method, and visually recognizes the notification 41a by any method. The same applies when the notification 41a is sent to the watcher terminal device 3. FIG.
If one of the lifestyle changes in FIG. 3 is "a third party comment includes a character string of '000'", the sensor information processing unit 22 displays the third party comment at an arbitrary location in the notification 41a. (The same applies to FIGS. 6 to 9).
FIG. 6 is also a diagram showing an example of notification. A notification 41b in FIG. 6 is a notification sent to the watched person terminal device 7 when the watching device 1 detects the change "C02". The difference of the notification 41b in FIG. 6 from that in FIG. 5 is as follows.
• The level of priority is getting higher.
- The rate of decrease of life change 42d, 42e and 42f is larger.
Advice 43d, 43e and 43f prompt greater behavioral change.
・The absolute value of the points (compared to the previous time) is larger.
FIG. 7 is also a diagram showing an example of notification. A notification 41c in FIG. 6 is a notification transmitted to the watching person terminal device 3 when the watching device 1 detects the change "C04". The difference of the notification 41c in FIG. 7 from that in FIG. 5 is as follows.
- The push mark 44 is displayed on the notification 41c. When the sensor information processing unit 22 of the watching device 1 transmits the notification 41c to the watching person terminal device 3, the output device (screen) of the watching person terminal device 3 highlights the push mark 44 as an icon. When the watcher presses the push mark 44 , the sensor information processing unit 22 displays the notification 41 c on the output device (screen) of the watcher terminal device 3 . The same applies when the notification 41c is sent to the terminal device 7 of the person being watched.
- The notification 41c includes a column 45 for "view latest health checkup data". The column 45 corresponds to "medical examination data" (column 116) in FIG. Here, four options are displayed as past or present health checkup results that can be visually recognized by the watcher. When the watcher selects, for example, "back muscle strength", the sensor information processing unit 22 of the watching device 1 displays the results of the health checkup related to back muscle strength on the output device (screen) of the watcher terminal device 3 as a time-series graph. (not shown). The same applies when the notification 41c is sent to the terminal device 7 of the person being watched. By displaying the past health checkup results and lifestyle changes on the same screen, it is possible to grasp whether or not a function (for example, walking speed) that was unsatisfactory in the past health checkup results has been improved. In other words, in addition to comparing one's own past walking speed, it is possible to grasp whether or not there has been an improvement with respect to past health checkup results, so that the person being watched can be motivated to exercise more.
- In the notice 41c, a column 46 of "view recent living information" is displayed. The column 46 corresponds to each index (columns 102a to 102e and 103a to 103f) in FIG. This column 46 displays all quantitative and qualitative life indicators as options. Note that only two are shown in FIG. 6 due to space limitations. When the watcher selects, for example, "number of falls", the sensor information processing unit 22 of the watching device 1 displays the number of falls on the output device (screen) of the watcher terminal device 3 in FIG. not shown). The same applies when the notification 41c is sent to the terminal device 7 of the person being watched.
FIG. 8 is also a diagram showing an example of notification. A notification 41d in FIG. 8 is a notification transmitted to the watched person terminal device 7 when the watching device 1 detects the change "C11". In this case, the direction in FIG. 3 is "improve". Therefore, encouragement 47a and 47b are displayed instead of the above-mentioned advice. Priority is not displayed in the notification 41d. The same applies when the notification 41d is sent to the watcher terminal device 3. FIG.
FIG. 9 is also a diagram showing an example of notification. A notification 41e in FIG. 8 is a notification transmitted to the watching person terminal device 3 and the watched person terminal device 7 when the watching device 1 detects the change "C12". Similar to FIG. 6, the notification 41e in FIG. 8 also has a push mark 44 displayed thereon.
