Abstract

Disclosed are a storage and dispensing system and method for for all drug presentations and/or medical supplies in pharmacies and/or surgical warehouses of health centres and hospitals that require an automated system, which comprises: a system of static shelves, provided with receiving channels for different types of containers or boxes, in which different dosage forms or medical supplies are deposited, the shelves being sloped at a precise angle and storing one or more containers or boxes per channel, which include container braking mechanisms, with control stations provided with computing means for reading data related to the different products deposited in the boxes. According to the invention, the computing means correspond to a specially designed piece of software or application; the entrance of each receiving channel is provided with a set of RGB LED lights indicating the product to be inserted, which signal the location of the channel in which the box with a specific product will be deposited; the exit of each channel is also provided with a set of RGB lights that indicate the location of the product to be removed for dispensing; and the control stations comprise hardware, such as personal computers, a scanner or other technologies, to capture product identification and traceability codes, and remote displays, fixed or in devices such as tablets or mobile phones, which allow remote or direct notification of the drugs or supplies to be dispensed or replaced.

SYSTEM AND PROCEDURE FOR THE AUTOMATED STORAGE AND DISPENSATION OF MEDICINES AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES

The invention deals with an automated storage and dispensing system and procedures for the global management of medicines, supplies and medical devices, capable of working with any presentation, format and dimension thereof. It is a technological solution designed to save time in dispensing and stock replenishment, reduce medication errors, while simultaneously optimizing management, control, traceability, dispensing speed and space.

Background of the Invention

Our objectives focus on health as a fundamental right, considering that it is made up of a series of stages, which together work to achieve the optimal treatment of the patient. Health benefits, in themselves, focus on carrying out a logistics activity that tries to establish the best critical route so that patient care times are optimal with the best possible care and hence our main motivation for requesting this patent, to publicize the innovations of our invention, which support the best patient care.

In the pharmacies of health centers and hospitals, the pharmacy staff prepares the medicines and also the necessary medical supplies and utensils for the patients for their treatment or administration to them. Medications and medical supplies and devices have different presentations depending on the type of medication and administration: box, bottle, bag, blister, ampoule, bottle, cut blister, bagged tablet, repackaged, aerosol, etc., each of these presentations has in turn a multitude of different formats and dimensions. This enormous combination of presentations, formats, sizes and dosages makes it impossible for a robotic system capable of carrying out the task of preparing medicines and medical supplies in all its varieties, replacing pharmacy personnel in this work, according to the national reality. , by the type of container or pharmaceutical presentation that is used.

Within medical supplies or utensils, for example, we have probes, syringes, infusion sets, red and yellow caps, three-way keys, etc.

Today, most pharmacies in health centers and hospitals work with shelves and drawers, storing medicines in alphabetical order, by pharmaceutical form or other types of classification in order to carry out the search, preparation and storage work. replacement, in the most efficient way possible.

Some health center and hospital pharmacies incorporate automated systems called “vertical carousels” as the best option for seeking help to improve the speed of preparing prescriptions. These systems can store, using containers of different sizes, the different presentations, formats and dimensions of medicines to be dispensed, but it is the pharmacy staff who carry out the "picking" or preparation manually. However, this system is not fast enough for the dispensing of medications in outpatient pharmacy, causing long waits for patients to pick up their medications.

In CN108861278 of MA HONGBING on November 23, 2018, a medicine storage device and an automatic medicine dispenser are provided. In JP2006115970A by OMURA SHIRO et al. dated Nov. 5, 2006, a medicine dispenser is defined that replenishes medicines in a plurality of medicine storage chambers from upper surfaces, sorting, storing and dispensing them from a lower part as needed. The medicine storage chambers are provided with rectangular frame bodies surrounding their sides respectively, the frame bodies are arranged vertically and horizontally in medicine cassettes, the spaces are partially secured when placed vertically and horizontally, and pushing elements. - The coincidence of personnel replenishing and preparing at the same time in the same area would slow down both processes and possibly generate errors;

- Replenishing at a time other than the preparation time supposes in many cases an overeffort in planning and resource management and a high possibility of generating errors, as well as difficulty in the proper management of the inventory and that the activity is dependent on the movement of recipes or patients;

- Picking and replacement are carried out in the same container or location;

- When replacing a container or a location that still has stock, expiration problems can be generated as the existing ones are normally left under the spare parts. These last spare parts will be the ones that will be taken first, as they are more accessible, running the risk that if the staff is not very careful, the remains may remain too long and expire; At the same time, a disorder would be generated, if the container does not contain all the medicines from the primary container, reaching multiple locations for the same drug, inside the pharmacy;

- Replenish carefully, making the stocks that have been in the location or container more accessible for longer, which means slowing down the process resulting in many cases in the need for additional personnel; which does not happen in practice, where the Pharmacy staff of Health Institutions is generally insufficient and they have to perform different tasks simultaneously, not only linked to the dispensing itself, but also to other tasks, such as Supply , Repackaging, Development of Reports, Analysis of Management Indicators, etc.

- In any case, it is necessary to carry out periodic checks on all stored medicines, similar to inventories, to detect products that are expired or close to expiration; or failing that, keep a manual record, to carry out expiration reviews.

- Continuous manual work produces errors and input/output movements without adequate control, generating deviations in the stock that can lead to breakages with the consequent impossibility of providing the service at the moment. When dealing with medicines, a stock break can have mild to serious consequences for patients, since waiting until the quantity to be dispensed can be a serious problem for the patient's ailment.

- This wait can be lengthened due to logistical problems due to shortages, holidays, etc. This problem requires frequent manual inventories (up to once a week) to adjust the erroneous stock and control deviations; which in practice is also difficult to do, which is why pharmacies tend to stock up too much, in order to protect themselves from these possible stock breaks, thus increasing their inventories, with a greater lack of control and with the consequent financial cost of have detained inventory.

- Manual control and inventories require a lot of pharmacy staff time in the counts and manual computer adjustments necessary in the program or management tools.

- There is no traceability of the medicine prepared with the patient. This implies, for example, that if a problem is detected with a batch of a medication, it is impossible to take direct action with the patients to whom that batch has been dispensed in order to deal with the case properly.

In automated pharmacies with rotary systems of the "vertical carousel" type, the Preparation speed is limited by the speed of rotation of the machine. Giving an extreme case as an example, for a preparation of three different references that are located 1/3 of the complete way each of them, to be able to "pick" each one, it would be necessary to wait the time it takes for the carousel to give 1/3 turn. On the contrary, the preparation time will be common for all grouped preparations. If there is one with 10 referrals and another with 2 referrals, it will cost the same time for both.

The carousel has the trays accessible only through the window located on the front part and within a certain height range, which generally allows access to only 2 - 4 trays at the same time for each movement.

For each reference to prepare, it moves, leaving the tray accessible through the window and identifying the location where it is located from all the visible trays. The user must take the necessary amount for the different preparations to which it must be added. Once the "picking" of that reference is finished, the user performs the necessary action to move on to the next one, which will require a new movement of the carousel unless the new reference is found in the already accessible trays.

It is a "mono-picking" process (reference after reference) in which, in the event of peak work and the need to go faster, it is not possible, even if more personnel are put to work. Speed is limited by the machine. Only one person can work on the machine.

Picking and replacement are carried out in the same area, through the front of the equipment, so it is not possible to carry out both processes simultaneously. Either one process or the other is carried out, since the management of the computer system forces us to choose in a distinctive way;

Replenishing at times other than preparation is the usual practice and in many cases involves additional staff, or working outside of schedules, so as not to hinder the normal dispensing work, and over-effort in planning and resource management;

Picking and replenishment are done in the same container or location;

When replacing a container or a location that still has stock, expiration problems can be generated, since the existing ones are normally left under the spare parts. It will be these last spare parts that will be taken first, as they are more accessible, running the risk that if the staff is not very careful, the remains may remain too long and expire.

Due to the difficulty and slowness of carrying out inventories in carousels, the quantity to be stored is usually oversized to avoid stock breakage. In addition, a possible breakdown in the carousels implies a lack of accessibility to the medicines stored in the equipment, with the consequent breakdown in patient care.

The objective is to solve problems within the environment of storage, global management and handling of medicines and medical supplies, mainly linked to the safety and optimal care of the patient, in an environment where their rights to decent care are respected.

The application of an effective system for all medicines and medical supplies is not possible due to the enormous variety of presentations, formats, sizes and dosages of medicines to work with.

The problems, present in all pharmacies, to be solved are:

- Slowness in the processes of preparing medications prescribed to patients for delivery or administration to them, which is magnified in pharmacies of state hospitals that serve many patients, on an outpatient basis, where the wait can reach up to 6 hours , as is public knowledge, in the mass media, such as newspapers or television reports.

- Slowness, lack of control in the outgoing and incoming movements of medicines, linked to the medication replenishment processes.

- Extra cost in hours and risk of possible problems (due to stock control errors) due to lack of stock in the preparation process, due to the need to carry out the replenishment and preparation processes separated in time by sharing the same area. - Extra cost in hours in stock control, by carrying out inventories, due to the necessary frequency and its complexity as it requires a long time to carry it out.

- Extra cost in hours in carrying out expiration controls due to the necessary frequency and its complexity as it requires a long time to carry it out.

- Lack of measures related to the reduction of medication errors, which can lead to even fatal consequences.

The additional problems of non-automated pharmacies to be solved are the lack of measures aimed at reducing medication errors and the lack of traceability, making it impossible for those affected to exercise, in an adequate and direct way, actions to prevent/correct/monitor any type of error. necessary problem or matter.

The additional problems of automated pharmacies with carousels to be solved are the risk of blockage or a significant reduction in the speed of work, generated by a problem (electrical, mechanical, computer) making it impossible to perform the necessary service.

Other problems of automated pharmacy systems, to which the invention responds correspond to:

Description of the invention This automated equipment is a storage and dispensing system for all the presentations of medicines, devices and medical supplies in pharmacies and/or surgical warehouses of health centers and hospitals that require an automated system, which includes:

- a system of static metal trays provided with different reception channels for different types of containers or boxes, in which different pharmaceutical forms or medical supplies are deposited, open both at the front and rear, with the trays being inclined and completely accessible by both parties;

- each channel having an input that allows the replenishment and storage of the products and an output that allows the output or dispensing of the products that have been introduced in containers or boxes;

- control stations, provided with computerized means, which allow reporting the prescription for each patient and transmitting data related to the various products, both registering stock movements and identifying the locations of the various items to be filled in the prescription or order request, where the computer means correspond to a specialized software or application that allows this task to be carried out in a very efficient manner;

- the input of each reception or replacement channel is provided with a set of lights indicating the product to be stored;

- the output or dispensing of each item stored in a container or box, through a specific channel, is also provided with a set of lights indicating the product to be extracted;

- It may include a shutter that hermetically closes the system, if required, where:

All this management is commanded by specialized software or unique development or application that interacts with the software of the health center or hospital, which allows this work to be carried out very efficiently, being synchronized, with remote, static or mobile screen monitors through cell phones or tablets, which dynamically inform the order of medicines or medical supplies to be completed by each operator, either for replenishment or dispensing.

The control stations also incorporate remote management control software, with mixed tactile and voice interfaces, data capture of use, consumption of medicines or items dispensed, maintenance, and information necessary to verify compliance with medical prescriptions and others served by the system.

The system stores medicines and medical supplies in containers of various sizes, for subsequent dispensing in the dose to be administered to the patient.

All processes are computerized to have total control of stocks, movements, expiration dates, batches, patient traceability, etc.

The system receives dispensing orders (prescriptions) in real time and two-way communication is established for the main processes and information in the operation of a pharmacy (dispensing, replenishment, return and other types of movement, inventory, item management, etc. .,).

The static shelf-type structure is open at both the front and rear, with inclined trays, fully accessible from both sides. The trays are inclined, at a specially determined angle, generating a previously defined slope of fall, from the rear area to the front area, which allows the containers to slide from the area in which they are replaced to the front area in which it is carried out. preparation, but not collide abruptly against the front of the equipment, in the frontal zone.

Optionally, the rack can have a metal shutter, in both accesses, that can be closed as a whole and that allows to protect the inventory, in case the equipment is not working.

All elements are static, there is no automated movement of system components or medications.

Optionally, the dispensing and/or replenishment processes are carried out with the help of peripherals such as mechanical arms or conveyor belts, controlled by the built-in computer program, in which case the system will incorporate mobile elements.

The trays incorporate mobile separators that allow configuring from one to more than 30 channels per meter.

In the channels, generated in the trays with the separators, containers (drawers or boxes) are stored, which in turn contain references with all kinds of pharmaceutical presentations or supplies, or references with a rectangular prism presentation are also directly stored. (such as boxes), or cylindrical shape (such as jars or bottles).

In the storage and dispensing system, all channels store at least 1 container of the same medicine or supplies, when there are 2 containers of the same medicine in series, one will be in front and the other in the back of the equipment, so that it is respected FIFO (first in, first out) principle. One container is accessible from the front area for dispensing, return and discharge, and another is accessible from the rear area for replenishment. Each tray, along the entire front and rear edge, has RGB LEDs (red, blue and green) to signal each location with different colors simultaneously.

The work processes to be carried out, both at the front and rear, have touch screens and scanners or other information technologies in both areas, to assist and control these processes in such a way that they are as easy and fast as possible while controlled and traced.

Although the model considered standard is made up of 3 one-meter modules, the system is modular and can include, with at least one module, at least one tray in each module and at least one channel for each tray. However, it can be configured according to the needs of each pharmacy, and it can also modify the number of trays per module, the heights between them and the number of channels for each tray.

This flexibility allows the configuration of the system to be adapted to the type of containers and the quantity of them necessary for the consumption and types of presentation of all the medicines or supplies of each pharmacy. The trays are inclined, generating a slope of fall, from the area back to the front area, which allows the containers to slide optimally, from the area where they are replaced to the front area where the "picking" is carried out, which varies between 15 and 22 degrees, which is optimal to allow movement of the box without reaching an unwanted speed.

The inclination of the channel allows the box to remain with its content partially exposed, which facilitates the picking of medicines or supplies, since the ergonomic access of the hand and, on the other hand, helps a lot with inventory management, by allowing quickly visualize if there could be a lack of a product, with the consequent stock break.

In terms of operability, the inclined channels allow the system to function on its own and quickly self-regulate inventory stocks, due to movements that occur "per se" when an empty box is completed and it is ready to move, when the box is removed. front box. The determination of the exact angle of the tray between 15 and 22 degrees proposed by the present invention, allowed the development of a system in such a balance that, although the boxes moved, they did not slide abruptly to impact the front flange, all which was also supported by the development of three concomitant brake mechanisms, to ensure the fair and exact movement of the box with products, as well as the retention of the empty box for replacement.

All the channels store at least one container, when there are two containers, one is accessible from the front area for dispensing "picking" and another is accessible from the rear area for replenishment, known as the Kanban system, to control the flow of medicines or others and production according to the "pulí" principle. The so-called self-regulation control circuits are applied to guarantee the supply of medicines on a permanent basis, in Kanban, and in our case, the material order is driven by consumption, this means that only the consumption of the production and the logistics process activate reorder points.

By default, the containers are replenished only once (they are not filled several times with partial quantities), filling them to the maximum or to the quantity established as a pattern based on the consumption of each reference.

Each channel incorporates a locking system that prevents the rear container from falling without additional assistance from the user. This system allows the rear container to be partially outside the tray allowing them to be easily removed from the rear area for the replacement process. This system fulfills a second objective, which is to prevent the rear container from supporting its weight on the front one, which would cause a significant ergonomic problem in the case of heavy containers that need to be fully or partially extracted to carry out "picking". Alternatively the channel blocking system comprises a blocking system incorporated directly into all the containers.

When extracting the front container to carry out the "picking", the rear container would lower, which would be resting on the front, so that when re-inserting through the area front dispensing container in place, we would also be pushing the rear container. This overexertion would be aggravated in heavy containers and in the lower trays,

Each channel incorporates a front damping system that retains and slows down the sliding of the container, preventing the front edge from jumping and falling to the ground. At the same time, it minimizes the noise of the impact of the container with the front edge after sliding, this system is located in the front flange of the tray. For this purpose, a rubber band is installed that absorbs the kinetic and gravity energy that the box acquires in its movement.

These energies are increased in those boxes that are larger and therefore heavier, where this mechanism plays a very important role.

This mechanism can act in a complementary way with the magnet-based brakes that are additionally incorporated in each channel and that interact with metal plates that adhere to the containers.

The combination of the double container system with functionalities of the application or software, makes stocks adjust automatically without the need for inventories.

In operation, an associated general process corresponds preferably to the “multi-picking” dispensing modality of multiple users (“multiuser”) where:

Dispensing orders from the pharmacy management program are received in real time.

After receiving the orders, it allows you to dispense them directly or keep them in order to group them or program them to dispense them later.

These different possibilities of managing orders allow adaptation to the existing working method in each pharmacy.

Another associated procedure is ordered direct dispensing in which: - The colors that are going to prepare recipes are selected in the application and each color is assigned to a preparer (“picker”).

- When starting, a panel for each "picker" will be shown on the front screens, in the form of a rectangle, which presents the color assigned to the preparer and next to it the list with the medications to be prepared (quantity, name and dose of the medication and location ); for each patient, individualized by a unique identifier, according to the protocols of the establishment, which may include, among others, bed number, name, rut, clinical service where they are treated, epidemiological history, clinical record number and episode of care;

- All the locations where these medicines are found will light up in their front area with the color of the "picker" or preparer ("multipicking" process).

- After taking all the medicines in the quantities requested, the "picker" clicks on the rectangle of their color on the screen validating the process and ending it.

- After pressing, the lights of their color turn off and the screen is updated showing the next recipe and turning on the following lights.

The screens simultaneously show as many colors as "pickers" who are preparing recipes or restocking at that moment. They can be from one to more than ten ("multiuser" process), in each process, independently.

In the front area of each location, as many colors as "pickers" have that reference included in their recipe are lit simultaneously. They can be from one to more than ten different colors.

In this “multiuser” case for the same channel, the width of the channel is divided into as many segments of different colors as “pickers” must access that channel.

This simultaneous continuous illumination of all colors avoids possible errors in the case of using pulsed or sequential light in the same channel and prevents operators from concentrating in front of a certain reference, generating queues and hindering the optimal functioning of the system.

To this "multiuser" management, segmented signaling with continuous light for a location, we call it “fullvision”.

The next recipe that is activated for "picking" or preparation (screen display and location lighting) follows a previously defined specific order, adapted to the way of working (service, floor, room, etc.,).

In case a reference is located in several channels, the application calculates, applying the FIFO criterion, the channel to illuminate of the possible stored items.

Pickers can be added or removed at any time without stopping the process, so that it is adaptable to peaks and valleys of work or staff availability.

Partially dispensed recipes can also be retrieved without stopping the process or select specific recipes to be able to activate them, avoiding having to wait according to the existing order. This makes it possible to attend to emergencies and complete dispensations that have previously been incomplete due to lack of stock or another reason.

- box, bottle, bag, blister, ampoule, jar, cut blister, bagged tablet, repackaged, divided, aerosol, etc., in addition, each of these presentations has in turn a multitude of different formats and dimensions, CHARACTERIZED because:

-the dispensing orders received from a software or application from a health center or hospital are not queued directly, they are stored on a data, pending to be managed in the application by a "programmer" user who assigns to a "picker" or preparer, which recipes must be prepared and in what order so that the preparation process is fully defined in advance;

- The dispensing orders received are grouped by different criteria and the preparers are assigned different groups of created recipes (by floor, by service, by room, by surname, etc.), so that when they start the preparation process, each preparer, only the recipes selected for him will appear and in the order established by a programmer, where:

- each preparer defined in the programming, selects in a dispensing system application a color to be used in the recipe preparation process;

- When starting, the application shows on the front screens of a shelving system a panel for each "picker", in the form of a rectangle, which presents the color assigned to the preparer and next to it the list with the medicines to be prepared (quantity, medication name and dosage and location); for each patient, individualized by a unique identifier, according to the protocols of the establishment, which may include, among others, bed number, name, rut, clinical service where they are treated, epidemiological history, clinical record number and episode of care;

- turn on RGB LED lights in all the locations where these medicines are located in the front area of a static tray system of a shelf with the color assigned to the preparer;

- Take all the medicines or supplies in the quantities requested, and click on the rectangle of their color on the screen validating the process and ending it; Y

25. The programmed dispensing process according to claim 24, further CHARACTERIZED by showing on the screens simultaneously as many colors as preparers are preparing recipes at that moment, from one to more than ten.

CHARACTERIZED because when executing the application it is possible to execute the programming in an estimated way based on previous orders and additional information provided by the recipes or other sources, in this mode, planned preparations are programmed without having received, or only partially received, the orders of dispensing of the software of the health center or hospital, upon receiving the dispensing orders, the forecasts are verified and the preparers are informed of the confirmed prescriptions and those that need to be corrected.

A scheduled replenishment process, in a global management storage and dispensing system, for all the presentations of medicines, supplies and medical devices in pharmacies and/or surgical warehouses of health centers and hospitals that can manage different presentations, depending on the type and administration: box, bottle, bag, blister, ampoule, vial, cut blister, bagged tablet, repackaged, divided, aerosol, etc., in addition, each of these presentations has in turn a multitude of formats and different dimensions, CHARACTERIZED because:

- the colors that will identify the preparation to be replenished are selected in a software or application of the dispensing system of a health center or hospital and each color is assigned to a replenisher;

- replenishment orders are received from the software of the health center or hospital indicating the items and quantities to be replenished so that the management of replenishment and stock is controlled and centralized in a pharmacy program;

- the programmed replenishment option is displayed on some screens after the selection by a user and the list of items and quantities received in the orders is displayed on a screen, being able to search and select from that list; Y

- After selecting the item to be replaced, RGB LED lights are turned on in a rear area of a shelving system, on a channel to be replaced in the color of the stocker and the item information is displayed on the screen;

- a container is removed from its location on the shelf trays from the rear and is filled with the necessary quantity of the medicine to be replaced;

- after re-inserting it in its location, the user confirms the replaced quantity, batch and expiration date by entering it using a touch keyboard, or a conventional barcode reader or RFID system, so that information would already be completed in the event that the containers had codes with that information and the container code had been scanned; Y

- then, the user validates the replacement or selects a new item to replace, turning off the previous channel and turning on the new one; Y

- alternatively, the system allows the identification, by means of a barcode, of the drug to be replenished, in order to trace it, indicating its batch number and expiration date directly using the information included in the code or RFID tag or being able enter or modify it manually as well.

31. An orderly direct replacement process, in a global management storage and dispensing system, for all the presentations of medicines, medical supplies and devices in pharmacies and/or surgical warehouses of health centers and hospitals that can manage different presentations, depending on the type and administration: box, bottle, bag, blister, ampoule, vial, cut blister, bagged tablet, divided, repackaged, aerosol, etc., in addition, each of these presentations has in turn a multitude of formats and dimensions different, CHARACTERIZED because:

- the colors to be replenished are selected in a software or application of the dispensing system of a health center or hospital and each color is assigned to a replenisher;

- after selecting the type of direct replacement on a screen, the item code is searched for in the application and the code of a container or the one printed on a list of replacement proposals is selected or scanned or captured using appropriate technology the dispensing system.;

- after inserting the item to be replaced, some RGB LED lights are turned on in the rear area in a channel of a shelf to be replaced in the color of the stocker and display the information of the item on a screen;

- the container is extracted from the rear from its location in a system of metal trays in a modular static structure, provided with different reception channels for different products, open both at the front and rear, with the trays being tilted and fully accessible by both parties, and is filled with the necessary amount of the medication to be replaced;

- after re-inserting it in its location, the user confirms the replaced quantity, batch and expiration date by entering it using a touch keyboard, this information would already be completed if the containers had conventional bar codes or RFID labels with that information and the packaging code would have been scanned; Y - then, the user validates the replacement or introduces a new item to replace, turning off the previous channel and turning on the new one; Y

32. A stock circulation and self-adjustment process, in a global management storage and dispensing system, for all the presentations of medicines, supplies and medical devices in pharmacies and/or surgical warehouses of health centers and hospitals that can manage different presentations, depending on the type and administration: box, bottle, bag, blister, ampoule, jar, cut blister, bagged tablet, repackaged, divided, aerosol, etc., in addition, each of these presentations has in turn a multitude of formats and different dimensions, CHARACTERIZED because:

- starting from an empty channel in a system of metal trays in a modular static structure, provided with different receiving channels for different containers or boxes with products, open both at the front and at the back, with the trays being tilted and fully accessible from both parties, when replenishing a container with products, the stocks contained in said container are recorded;

- since there is no front container, we push the replacement container over the rear lock so that it slides to the front area, remaining accessible for picking or preparation;

- replenishing a second container by registering the stocks that said container has;

- save the stocks of the front container and those of the rear separately in the database;

- generate outputs from the front container in the dispensing process, reducing its stock (those of the rear container do not vary);

- at the time that in a dispensing process the container of the reference to be dispensed runs out of stock, the user must press the "empty container" option for that channel in the application; - Turn on the channel in the rear area and display the guided process on the screen, indicating that you take the empty container from the front area and insert it into the rear area, previously pushing the rear container so that it slides to the front area;

- after carrying out this process and confirming that it has been carried out correctly, the application adjusts the inventory of the channel by updating it to the inventory of the replenishment container that has just passed to the front area; Y

- Batch and expiration information is saved after replacement for each container in the database, subsequently allowing this information to be traced with that of the patient.

33. A container for a global management storage and dispensing system, for all the presentations of medicines, supplies and medical devices in pharmacies and/or surgical warehouses of health centers and hospitals that can manage different presentations, depending on the type and administration: box, bottle, bag, blister, ampoule, vial, cut blister, bagged tablet, repackaged, divided, aerosol, in addition, each of these presentations in turn has a multitude of different formats and dimensions, CHARACTERIZED because it includes: a background , a front wall, a back wall and side walls, open at the top and with a sliding or removable cover, with interior channels in the side walls, dividing panels fitting into the interior channels; a fin protruding from its rear panel for a handle, means of identification on its front and rear panel for the insertion of electronic or printed identification cards, and a metal plate for its brake by magnetic interaction.

34. A container for a storage and dispensing system according to claim 33, CHARACTERIZED in that it also comprises a locking system incorporated in the tray, preventing the empty rear container from moving, the one that remains protruding, without additional help from the user.

35 A container for a storage and dispensing system according to the claim 33 CHARACTERIZED because it also comprises a brake system incorporated in the container based on magnetic attraction forces that interact with one or more magnets in the respective tray.

36 . A global management storage and dispensing system, to be installed in medicine shelves, for all the presentations of medicines, supplies and medical devices in pharmacies and/or surgical warehouses of health centers and hospitals that require an automated system free of errors and efficient that can manage different medicines or supplies, depending on the presentation: box, bottle, bag, blister, vial, vial, cut blister, bagged tablet, repackaged, fractionated, aerosol, etc., in addition, each of these presentations has in turn, a multitude of different formats and dimensions, CHARACTERIZED because it includes:

- An existing shelf, cupboard or shelf with containers of various sizes to store medications or supplies for subsequent dispensing in the dose for periods determined for hospitalized or outpatients, which may include a shutter that hermetically closes the system, in if required;

- an exact personalized dispensing for outpatient, which is stored in a container which container comprises a bottom, front wall, back wall and side walls, open at the top, with a sliding or removable lid, rectangular or circular;

- RGB LED indicator lights that guide users to the positions where the containers containing the medicines or supplies required on the shelf are located, both for dispensing and for replacement, through independent processes, the LED lights are defined in each shelf along the entire front edge,

- the lights indicate the respective location of each drug, in its container, by using different colors simultaneously, where they enable the simultaneous operation of multiple operators either to dispense or replenish; Y

- control stations comprising hardware such as computers of the type scanner for capturing 1D or 2D barcodes, and/or electronic identification reader systems, either by chip, WIFI, bluetooth, RFID tags, touch screens on the front and back of the trays and also remote screens such as tablets or mobile phones that allow the medicines or supplies to be dispensed or replenished to be displayed directly.

37. The storage and dispensing system according to claim 1, CHARACTERIZED in that the replenishment and/or dispensing of supplies and or medications are carried out semi-automatically or automatically by means of peripherals such as mechanical arms or conveyor belts, controlled by the incorporated computer program.
