Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure provides a health passport for creating a next best decision for user safety in a real-time state. The system receives inputs from a user and service providers, and compliance and policy information and other data from data sources. The inputs, compliance and policy information and other data are automatically analysed in real-time to create a next best action decision matrix comprising next best action information to be suggested to the user. The next best information may include actions, alerts, warnings, and escalation models associated with the service providers. The movement, health data, and one or more dynamic factors of the user are monitored and accordingly status of the user is updated. The next best action information may be sent to the user based on the information in the database and monitoring of the user.

HEALTH PASSPORT SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ITS USE
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The presently disclosed subject matter generally relates to the field of health and travel compliance. Particularly, the present subject matter relates to a health passport system and method for real-time management of an individual’s i.e. , a traveller’s status in regards to personal health and his/her interaction with compliant service provider environments and institutions responsible for border management and public health.
BACKGROUND
[0002] It would be attractive, practically and commercially, to provide a platform to manage and maintain a safe pathway for travellers that may be national or international travellers during a period where a dynamic contagious disease or a pandemic outbreak such as, but not limited to, COVID-19 exists.
[0003] An epidemic or pandemic outbreak also referred as an epidemic or pandemic, respectively, involves an infectious disease that is prevalent over a widespread geographic area and that affects a large proportion of a population (i.e., the public) in that geographic area. The geographic area may involve multiple cities, or countries. A pandemic is significant and concerning because of the potential that all the individuals of the population may be at risk of suffering serious illness or even death. A pandemic can cause fear and apprehension, and can result in closure of schools, places of business, and other public places. It is an immutable fact that pandemics occur when viruses are transmitted by people and that, in a highly connected and fast-moving world, travel is seen as a high-risk activity when pandemic threats emerge.
[0004] A pandemic or endemic can place sudden and intense demands on healthcare systems, immigration systems etc. The rampant nature by which the pandemic/endemic can spread may require a large proportion of available healthcare resources and providers to treat the victims of the illness, usually at the expense of the treatment of other injuries or illness. Especially worrisome is that the infectious nature of a pandemic illness may put at risk a large number of people if not stopped from spreading. In other words, a pandemic/endemic represents danger for the public at large because of the demands on and risks posed to the public’s defense mechanism against the illness, namely the healthcare systems. [0005] The traditional response to epidemic/pandemic evolved over 700 years ago and focused largely on preventing the movement of people. The concept of quarantine and border closures are first recorded in 14th Century Venice ( quaranta giorni = 40 days) and have been largely unaltered as a primary response to epidemics/pandemics. These approaches disrupt economic/social activity and development. Many cities and countries may develop some policies and guidelines to manage the pandemic or people during pandemic. For example, movement of the people may be restricted by the government or health authorities to avoid spread of the pandemic/endemic or to avoid community spread of the pandemic/endemic. However, it is difficult to accurately determine the movement of each individual during the pandemic/endemic situation.
[0006] Each country or city may have their own restrictions and guidelines that every individual should abide by to stop spread of pandemic. For example, a country may ask every person coming to their country to isolate for 2 weeks, or may ask the person to go through some health checks for visa processing, and so forth. Further, the countries may keep on updating the guidelines or restrictions depending on the dynamic nature of the pandemic. Under these circumstances it becomes difficult for people to keep track of these guidelines and restrictions to act accordingly.
[0007] A method and system for infection control by collecting data pertaining to a risk of infection as related to one or more Entities such as, for example, a person or an asset within a Geographic Area from one or more data sources, including data generated by an Entity tracking means is disclosed in WO 2010/066033A1 discloses. Then, a computer operable is utilized to implement a computer program capable of accessing the collected data to produce an analysis of a risk of infection relating to the one or more Entities. Thereafter, one or more communications of the analysis of the risk of infection are generated. A Real Time Location System (RTLS) is utilized as the Entity tracking means to collect data reflecting the movement of one or more Entities. The RTLS such as RFID may facilitate location and movement monitoring of Entities. But this doesn’t disclose allowing users to check if a place they visiting is safe from the infection or not. [0008] Another system for modeling a progression of disease within a population is disclosed in US2011/0093249A1 . The system comprising: a static database component comprising static data related to the disease and/or the population; a dynamic database component comprising dynamic data about the population and individual subjects; and a computer modeling component that is configured to model the data in the static database component and the dynamic database component, thereby modeling the disease within the population. The disease can be an infectious disease or a chronic disease. The system can also suggest an appropriate response for the deployment of scarce resources and predict the impact of such mitigation both in terms of reduction of mortality and morbidity and economic impact. The techniques disclosed in this helps to model the progression of disease but it does not provide any compliance and policies related information to the user when they travel during endemic or pandemic.
[0009] US2018/0150601 discloses a method comprising monitoring, by one or more computer processors, at least one of a newsfeed, website, a blog, and a social media site to identify recent occurrences of a contagious disease and receiving a notification of one or more incidences of a contagious disease in at least one geographic region. The method also includes retrieving a plurality of information associated with the contagious disease and a plurality of information associated with one or more travelers to at least one geographic region in a timeframe associated with the one or more incidences of the contagious disease. The method also includes retrieving travel information from a passport associated with the at least one geographic region and a timeframe associated with the disease; travel information input by a customs agent or other representative of a government agency associated with the at least one geographic region and a timeframe associated with the contagious disease; and travel information from a travel service associated with travel to the at least one geographic region and a timeframe associated with the contagious disease. Then a level of severity associated with the one or more incidences of the contagious disease is determined. Further, action associated with the one or more incidences of the contagious disease is determined. The action is then executed. The action may include notifying the one or more travelers to the at least one geographic region of a potential exposure to the contagious disease. But it doesn’t disclose about capturing information such as photos or proof of visit of the user to a particular place like restaurant, hospital, park, etc. in real time.

The client computing device includes a processor and an electronic personal assistant application program executable by the processor. The personal assistant application program is configured to capture user data associated with user activities across a plurality of computer programs. The user data is sent to a personal assistant user data interpretation engine. A health-related suggestion based on at least a subset of the user data and anonymized statistics of a user population retrieved from an aggregated knowledge base is received. The health-related suggestion is displayed on a display associated with the client computing device. This doesn’t disclose about information to help the user plan his/her travel.
[0011] Currently, there are no effective methods or systems that can manage and maintain a safe pathway for travellers in the midst of a dynamic contagious disease as it changes state, outbreaks and re-infection occur and locations and installations react to infection events. Even border closures and strict quarantine procedures have always been found to be limited in effectiveness.
[0012] It is an object of the present invention to overcome or ameliorate the above discussed disadvantages of the prior art, or at least offer a useful alternative.
SUMMARY
[0013] To overcome the above-mentioned limitations and problems, the present disclosure provides a system and method for managing and maintaining a safe pathway for travellers in the midst of a dynamic contagious disease as it changes state, outbreaks and re-infection occur and locations and installations react to infection events. The system may reassure the travellers that they are visiting / staying at compliant, clean facilities on their journey.
[0014] The present disclosure provides a health tracking system for real-time management of a user’s (or individual’s) status in regards to personal health and his/her interaction with one or more compliant service provider environments.
[0015] The system is configured to creates a “Next Best Decision/action” for traveller (user) safety in a real-time state. Examples of the next best decision or action may include, but are not limited to, isolating for 14 days, getting a blood test done, visiting a health service provider, filling a specific form, booking a flight, checking for visa restrictions, quarantine requirements, and so forth. Against the traveller’s VISA profile, the next best decision/action may include any conditional testing, isolation etc. Is combined with real time updates from a service provider database which uploads a status from the compliancy database. Compliance may be created through an input into a policy and procedure application or system designed for the service provider profile. A service provider could be such as, but not limited to, an educational institution, tourist destination, hotel, conference center, Food and Beverage (F&B) outlet, a country, a city etc. The system may be configured to send warnings, alerts and escalation models to the users comprising travellers. These escalations may include symptom downloading profiles, In / outward bound telehealth calls, reference to testing facilities etc. Further, the triggered alerts can be simultaneous multi-channel.

Claims

CLAIMS What is claimed is:
1. A health passport system for creating a next best decision for user safety in a real time state, comprising: an input module configured to: receive one or more inputs from a user and a plurality of service providers and compliance and policy information and other data from one or more data sources; and to auto poll and automatically capture information comprising photo in real time; a registration module configured to register the user and the plurality of service providers with the health passport system and create a profile for each of the user and the plurality of service providers based on the respective one or more inputs comprising registration information; an analysis module configured to automatically analyse the one or more inputs and compliance and policy information in real-time to create at least one next best action decision matrix comprising next best action information to be suggested to the user, wherein the next best information may include one or more actions, alerts, warnings, and escalation models associated with the plurality of service providers; a monitoring module configured to monitor movement, health data, and one or more dynamic factors of the user; an updating module configured to automatically update a status of the user according to a combination of the one or more dynamic factors that are being monitored by the monitoring module; and a communication module configured to send the next best action information to the user based on the information in the database and monitoring of the user.

The health passport system of claim 1 further comprising at least one database configured to store the user profile, service provider profiles, the plurality of dynamic factors, user status, service provider state of each of the plurality of service providers, compliance and policy information, the at least one next best action decision matrix, registration information, events’ information, captured information, and the one or more inputs.
3. The health passport system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more inputs comprising at least one of registration information, user health data, events’ information, policies data, and compliance information.
4. The health passport system of claim 1, wherein the data sources comprise a policy and procedure system and a database of each of the plurality of service providers.
5. The health passport system of claim 1, wherein the plurality of dynamic factors comprises at least one of health history, changing disease characteristics and new patient handling techniques, location aware safety barriers, service provider status, travel destination status, and contact tracing conditions.
6. The health passport system of claim 1 , wherein the communication module is further configured to: notify the user about one or more events associated with the plurality of service providers; and alert the user about non-compliance of the plurality of service providers; and send notification message to the plurality of service providers about non-compliance of the user.
7. The health passport system of claim 6, wherein the communication module is further configured to send the next best action information to the user on occurrence of the one or more events; and provide information to at least one of the plurality of service providers and institutions that the user is attending with status update on their conformity and compliance to the cleaning and maintenance policies recommended for their type of service provider and alert the user about change in policy of the plurality of service providers.

The health passport system of claim 7, wherein the communication module is further configured to: receive policy and compliance information from a plurality of policy systems of the plurality of service providers about updates regarding policies and compliance formalities respective to the plurality of service providers; and alert the user about change in policy of the plurality of service providers.
9. The health passport system of claim 7 also includes a user interface module configured to provide an end-to end view of one or more aspects of user’s pathway that influences user’s risk of exposure to a disease to the user.
10. A health passport system for creating a next best decision for user safety in a real time state, comprising: an input module configured to: receive one or more inputs from a user and a plurality of service providers and compliance and policy information and other data from one or more data sources, the data sources comprise a policy and procedure system and a database of each of the plurality of service providers; and auto poll and automatically capture information comprising photo capture in real-time; a registration module configured to register the user and the plurality of service providers with the health passport system and create a profile for each of the user and the service providers based on the respective one or more inputs comprising registration information; an analysis module configured to automatically analyse the one or more inputs and compliance and policy information in real-time to create at least one next best action decision matrix comprising next best action information to be suggested to the user, wherein the next best information may include one or more actions, alerts, warnings, and escalation models associated with the plurality of service providers; a monitoring module configured to monitor movement, health data, and one or more dynamic factors of the user; an updating module configured to automatically update a status of the user according to a combination of the one or more dynamic factors that are being monitored by the monitoring module, wherein the plurality of dynamic factors comprises at least one of health history, changing disease characteristics and new patient handling techniques, location aware safety barriers, service provider status, travel destination status, and contact tracing conditions; a communication module configured to: send the next best action information to the user on occurrence of the one or more events; and receive policy and compliance information from a plurality of policy systems of the plurality of service providers about updates regarding policies and compliance formalities respective to the plurality of service providers; and a user interface module configured to provide an end-to end view of one or more aspects of user’s pathway that influences user’s risk of exposure to a disease to the user.
11 .The health passport system of claim 10 further comprising a database configured to store the user profile, service provider profiles, the plurality of dynamic factors, user status, service provider state of each of the plurality of service providers, compliance and policy information, the at least one next best action decision matrix, registration information, and the one or more inputs.
12. The health passport system of claim 11 , wherein the one or more inputs comprising at least one of the registration information, user health data, events’ information policies data, and compliance information.
13. The health passport system of claim 10, wherein the communication module is further configured to notify the user about one or more events associated with the plurality of service providers.
14. The health passport system of claim 13, wherein the communication module is further configured to send the next best action information to the user on occurrence of the one or more events.
15. The health passport system of claim 14, wherein the communication module is further configured to: provide information to at least one of the plurality of service providers and institutions that the user is attending, wherein the information comprises status update on conformity and compliance to the cleaning and maintenance policies recommended for the type of the plurality of service providers and institutions; and alert the user about change in policy of the plurality of service providers and institutions.
16. A method for creating a next best decision for user safety in a real-time state by using a health passport system, comprising: receiving, by an input module, one or more inputs from a user and a plurality of service providers and compliance and policy information and other data from one or more data sources; registering, by a registration module, the user and the plurality of service providers with the health passport system and create a profile for each of the user and the plurality of service providers based on the respective one or more inputs comprising registration information; automatically analysing, by an analysis module, the one or more inputs and compliance and policy information in real-time to create at least one next best action decision matrix comprising next best action information to be suggested to the user, wherein the next best information may include one or more actions, alerts, warnings, and escalation models associated with the plurality of service providers; monitoring, by a monitoring module, movement, health data, and one or more dynamic factors of the user; automatically updating, by an updating module, a status of the user according to a combination of the one or more dynamic factors that are being monitored by the monitoring module; sending, by a communication module, the next best action information to the user based on the information in the database and monitoring of the user; and notifying, by the communication module, the user about one or more events associated with the plurality of service providers.
17. The method of claim 16 further comprising storing, in at least one database, the user profile, service providers’ profiles, the plurality of dynamic factors, user status, service provider state of each of the plurality of service providers, compliance and policy information, the at least one next best action decision matrix, registration information, and the one or more inputs.
18. The method of claim 16, wherein the one or more inputs comprising at least one of the registration information, user health data, events’ information policies data, and compliance information.
19. The method of claim 16 further comprising: sending, by the communication module, the next best action information to the user on occurrence of the one or more events; providing, by the communication module, information to at least one of the plurality of service providers and institutions that the user is attending, wherein the information comprising a status update on conformity and compliance to the cleaning and maintenance policies recommended for the type of the plurality of service providers and institutions; and alerting, by the communication module, the user about change in policy of the plurality of service providers and institutions.
20. The method of claim 19 further comprising providing, by a user interface module, an end-to end view of one or more aspects of user’s pathway that influences user’s risk of exposure to a disease to the user.
