Abstract

The present invention (Figure- 1) is related in general to a device which primarily acts as a dispenser and an applicator for applying substance to a surface and in particular, a device which acts as a dispenser and an applicator having a chamber to store the substances like liquid, semi -liquid, cream, powder etc. for application and for dispensing the said substances for application which can be reused by refilling the said substances. The device comprises of an applicator chamber (001) at the front end, a storing chamber (002) in the middle and a dispensing chamber (003) at the rear end which are detachably attached serially to refill the substance in the storing chamber (002) and accordingly functions together.

Description

DEVICE FOR DISPENSING AND APPLICATION
FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention is related in general to a device which acts as an applicator for applying substances to a surface and in particular, a device which acts as an applicator having a chamber to store the substances like liquid, semi-liquid, cream, powder etc. for application and for dispensing the said substances for application. BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART
In day to day life, there is a need to apply substances to a surface especially substances like medicine or makeup topically to our skin/body. Most of the time it needs to be applied frequently such as topical substances like cream, liquid, powder etc. It is very difficult to apply things like liquid semi-liquid, cream, powder etc without spilling out if it is in a hurry or is handled without extreme care. Some times for a repeated application it needs to be carried while travelling. Excess or insufficient ejection of the substance while applying on the surface is also a problem. Sometimes the bottle/container may fall from hand and destroy the contents. The prior art includes different types of container and different types of applicators which have to be used separately. Out of these experiences, the inventor came up with a device which helps to overcome all the problems and achieve several advantages over similar products. So, the present invention is a suitable device for carrying the substance as well as apply it directly using the applicator in a controlled manner.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
The present invention tries to solve several issues and obviate disadvantages over the prior art and came out with several objectives.
The primary objective of the invention is to invent a carrier cum applicator which is suitable for all types of substances like liquid, semi-liquid, cream, powder etc and supply or spray it in a controlled way to any kind of surface.
The other objective of the invention is to invent a device which helps to spray and apply the contents using an applicator without being touched by hands.
Another objective of the invention is to invent an applicator device which can be reused by refilling the contents.
Yet another objective of the invention is to invent an applicator device which is suitable to carry easily while travelling as well as easy to handle.
The other objective is to invent a device to keep the applicator nozzle safe and clean. Still another objective is to invent a device which is easy to change the nozzle tip according to the application.
SUMMARY
Accordingly, to achieve the above said objectives and other advantages and in accordance with the purpose of the present invention hereby describes a device for dispensing and application. The present invention is related in general to a device which primarily acts as a dispenser and an applicator for applying substance to a surface and in particular, a device which acts as a dispenser and an applicator having a chamber to store the substances like liquid, semi-liquid, cream, powder etc. for application and for dispensing the said substances for application which can be reused by refilling the said substances. The device comprises of an applicator chamber(OOl) at the front end, a storing chamber(002) in the middle and a dispensing chamber(003) at the rear end which is detachable when required and is connected serially to refill the substance in the storing chamber(002) and accordingly functions together. The applicator chamber(OOl) comprises an applicator nozzle(004) having a soft material(0041) at the tip which can be kept inside the applicator chamber(OOl) when it is in close mode, a rotatable cover (005), a tube (006) connected with the nozzle(004) and the rotatable cover(005) and a detachable lock(007) to attach with the storing chamber (002) while the storing chamber comprises a refill tube(010), a needle(012), springs (009) and (0091) to control the refill tube(010) and the needle(012) respectively and a latex(014) covered magnetic base(015). The dispensing chamber(003) which has a retractable mechanism to push the substance in a controlled manner and quantity. It comprises a latch(020), a coil(019), a thrust device (022) with a thrust rod(021), and a piston structure(023) with trigger button(024).

The present invention is a handy dispenser cum applicator for applying the substance to a surface. According to the present invention, it is a device act in particular as a dispenser and an applicator having a chamber to store the substances like liquid, semi-liquid, cream, powder etc. for application. It dispenses the above-said substances for application in controlled quantity using the retractable mechanism. The device can be reused by refilling the said substances. The device comprises an applicator chamber (001) at the front end, a storing chamber (002) in the middle and a dispensing chamber (003) at the rear end which are attached in the order and easily detachable to refill the substance in the storing chamber (002) and accordingly functions together.
The applicator chamber(OOl) is at the front of the device. It comprises an applicator nozzle(004), a tube (006) connected with the nozzle(004) and a rotatable cover(005) and a detachable lock(007) to attach with the storing chamber (002). The applicator nozzle (004) usually round in shape having a soft material(0041) at the tip. The soft material(0041) is any material which can pass the said substances and help the substance to spread along the surface in a controlled way. It may include sponge, cotton, bristles, velvet etc. It helps to apply the substances smoothly over the surfaces. The applicator chamber(OOl) has a rotatable part which acts as a rotatable cover (005). The rotatable cover has three plates(0051) which are connected to the side of the rotator by extensions(0052). While rotating the rotator (005) further connects to the tube (006) while rotating the rotator cover (005) to one direction it opens to project out the applicator nozzle(004) and it closes in opposite direction. The applicator chamber(OOl) acts as a protective housing for the applicator nozzle(004) as well. The applicator nozzle( 004) can be kept inside the applicator chamber(OOl) when it is in close mode by rotating the rotatable cover (005) thus the nozzle can be protected from the wear, tear and dust. The rotator cover(005) helps the up and down movement of the applicator nozzle(004). The storing chamber(002) is the middle chamber between the applicator chamber(OOl) and the dispenser(OOl). The storing chamber(002) is used for storing the substance intended for application. A refill tube(OlO), a needle(012), springs (009) and (0091) to control the refill tube (010) and the needle(012) housed in storing chamber and a latex (014) covered magnetic base(015) at the rear end of the chamber(002). The refill tube(OlO) being the combined length of the storing chamber(002) and dispenser(003) is used to carry the substance till the base of the applicator nozzle(004) through the tube (006) in the applicator chamber(OOl). It is hollow to accommodate the needle (012). Both the refill tube (010) and the needle (012) have springs (009) (0091) to control the pressure and movement through the storing chamber(002). The latex covered magnetic base (015) is designed in such a way that it has three layers consisting of rubber/latex/silicon (014) and a magnet (015) (doughnut-shaped) in between for an easy needle piercing at the centre. The magnet works as an extra strength to boost the manual hydraulic push from the dispenser (003) to the base of the storing chamber(002) to level slightly above the substance of the needle (012) tip to push forward the substance to the nozzle(004). The process is done manually by rotating/adjusting the cuff(016) which is on the outer layer of the dispenser(003). The base of the storing chamber(004) remains flexible to move in the upward motion when the pressure is applied for the substance to remain at the tip of the needle (021) coming from the third chamber(003). The needle(012) hidden inside the refill tube (010) will help to push the substance to the base of the nozzle through the passage to the soft material (0041) placed on the top of the applicator nozzle (004), the refill tube(OlO) has spherical circles (011) below the level of the spring(009) to control pressure and random spherical along the refill tube (010) to agitate the substance when in motion, whereas the needle (012) hidden inside the refill tube(OlO) will have a spherical (013) at the base of the spring(0091) to control the pressure.
The dispensing chamber (003) which has a retractable mechanism to push the substance in controlled manner and quantity, comprises of a latch (020), a coil(019), and a piston structure (023) with trigger button(024). In this chamber, it contains a thrust device(022) with a thrust rod(021) and the primary function is to connect through a lock (018) to the other chambers. Once all the chambers are assembled, the coil (019) that acts as a hydraulic, sits inside the top base of the third chamber with a rotator cuff (016) in the outer layer for a manual push for the base of the second chamber. The piston (023) is situated in the thrust device (022) at the base of the dispensing chamber connected to the triggers (024) which has a protective passage to control the movement of the thrust device(022) with a thrust rod(021). The pushbuttons or triggers(024) appear in the outer part of the device at the base of the dispensing chamber(003), works similar to retractable components of a retractable pen which when pressed or pushed works as intended.

Claims

I CLAIM,
1. A device for dispensing and application comprising: an applicator chamber (001) having a rotatable cover (005) at the front end which acts as a housing of an applicator nozzle (004) usually round in shape having a soft material at the tip connected on a tube (006); a storing chamber (002) in the middle attached to the applicator chamber using a detachable lock (007) housed a refill tube(OlO), a needle(012), springs(009,0091) to control the refill tube (010) and the needle (012) and a latex (014) covered magnetic base(015) at the rear end of the chamber; and a dispensing chamber (003) at the rear end which has a retractable mechanism to push the substance in controlled manner and quantity, comprises of a thrust device(022) with a thrust rod(021) latch (020), a coil(019), and a piston structure (023) with trigger button(024) which are attached in the order and easily detachable to refill the substance in the storing chamber (002) and accordingly functions together.

The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the rotatable cover has three plates(0051) which are connected to the side of the rotator by extensions(0052) further connects to the tube (006) while rotating the rotator cover (005) to one direction it opens to project out the applicator nozzle(004) and closes in opposite direction.

The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the refill tube(OlO) being the combined length of the storing chamber(002) and dispenser(003) is used to carry the substance till the base of the applicator nozzle(004) through the tube (006) in the applicator chamber(OOl) and is hollow to accommodate the needle (012).
4. The device as claimed in claim 1 and 3 wherein both the refill tube (010) and the needle (012) have springs (009)and (0091) respectively to control the pressure and movement through the storing chamber.
5. The device as claimed in claim 1,3,4 wherein the refill tube (010) has spherical circles (011) below the level of the spring (009) to control pressure and random spherical along the refill tube (010) to agitate the substance when in motion.
6. The device as claimed in claim 1,3,4 wherein the needle (012) hidden inside the refill tube(OlO) will have spherical (013) at the base of the spring (0091) to control the pressure.

The device as claimed in claim 1 wherein the latex covered magnetic base is designed as doughnut-shaped in such a way that it has three layers consisting of rubber/latex/silicon (014) and a magnet (015) in between for an easy needle piercing at the centre that works as an extra strength to boost the manual hydraulic push from the dispenser (003) to the base of the storing chamber(002) to level slightly above the substance of the needle tip to push forward the substance to the nozzle(004) and that is to be done manually by rotating/adjusting the cuff (016) which is at the base on the outer layer of the dispenser(002).
