[Product purchase process]
Next, the outline of the product purchase process by the purchase management system 100 will be described. The product purchase process is a process in which a customer purchases a product at a store 8 using a mobile terminal 3. FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing an outline of the product purchase process. The product purchase process is roughly classified into a store entry process S100, a product selection process S200, and an accounting process S300. The product purchase process is mainly realized by the management server 2, the mobile terminal 3, and the accounting machine 5 executing programs prepared in advance.
(Store entry process)
First, the store entry process will be described. The store entry process is a process performed prior to the purchase of a product when a customer enters the store 8, and corresponds to preparation for the purchase of the product. FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing an example of the store entry process. This process is performed by the mobile terminal 3 and the management server 2.
First, when the customer enters the store 8, the customer reads the store barcode using the mobile terminal 3 (step S101). The store barcode is affixed to a predetermined place in the store 8, for example, a wall near the entrance of the store, a card used for shopping, or the like. When the customer reads the store barcode, the mobile terminal 3 acquires the store ID from the read store barcode and transmits it to the management server (step S102). When the mobile terminal 3 transmits the store ID, the mobile terminal 3 also transmits the customer identification information that identifies the customer who uses the mobile terminal 3 or the mobile terminal 3. In the product selection process and the accounting process described below, the mobile terminal 3 basically transmits the customer identification information for identifying itself when transmitting some information to the management server 2.
The management server 2 receives the store ID from the mobile terminal 3 and acquires the selling price list of the store from the product information DB 28 (step S104). This is because the selling price of the product is different for each store. Then, the management server 2 transmits the store information including the store name and the sale information of the store to the mobile terminal 3 (step S105), and the mobile terminal 3 receives the store information (step S106). As a result, the current store name, sale information of the store, and the like are displayed on the display unit 31 of the mobile terminal 3, and the customer can start shopping. The store information transmitted by the management server 2 includes information indicating the transaction status of the customer at the store, and when a new shopping is started at the store, the transaction status becomes new. On the other hand, when the customer interrupts shopping at the store for some reason, the purchased product list screen corresponding to the transaction state up to that point is displayed on the mobile terminal 3.
(Product selection process)
Next, the product selection process will be described. The product selection process is a process in which the customer uses the mobile terminal 3 to read the product barcode 7 attached to the product and registers it in the purchased product list. FIG. 8 is a flowchart of the product selection process. This process is executed by the mobile terminal 3 and the management server 2.
First, when the customer finds the product he / she wants to purchase, he / she puts the mobile terminal 3 into the product reading mode and reads the product barcode 7 attached to the product by the mobile terminal 3 (step S201: Yes). The mobile terminal 3 transmits the read product identification information of the product to the management server 2 (step S203). At this time, the quantity of the product is automatically set to "1". When the management server 2 receives the product identification information from the mobile terminal 3 (step S203), the management server 2 updates the purchased product list and transmits it to the mobile terminal 3 (step S204). The mobile terminal 3 receives the updated product list and displays it on the display unit 31 (step S205). As a result, the newly added product and its quantity are added to the purchased product list and displayed on the mobile terminal 3.
Next, when the customer operates the mobile terminal 3 to change the quantity of the product as necessary, the mobile terminal 3 acquires the changed quantity (step S206: Yes). When the product barcode is first read, the quantity of the product is automatically set to "1", but when the customer purchases the same product more than once, the mobile terminal 3 is operated to set the quantity. Can be changed. When the changed quantity is set, the mobile terminal 3 transmits the product identification information of the product to be changed and the changed quantity to the management server 2 (step S207).
When the management server 2 receives the product identification information and the changed quantity from the mobile terminal 3 (step S208), it updates the purchased product list and transmits it to the mobile terminal 3 (step S209). The mobile terminal 3 receives the updated product list and displays it on the display unit 31 (step S210). As a result, the quantity change is reflected in the purchased product list.
Next, the mobile terminal 3 determines whether or not the payment button 45 has been pressed by the customer (step S211). The payment button 45 is a button that the customer presses when completing the shopping. If the payment button 45 is not pressed (step S211: No), the process returns to step 201. In this way, the customer can add products, change the quantity, and continue shopping until the payment button 45 is pressed. Then, when the payment button 45 is pressed (step S211: Yes), the product selection process ends.
FIG. 9 shows a display example of the purchased product list screen displayed on the mobile terminal 3. In this example, the purchased product list screen has a product reading button 40, a list display field 41, a subtotal display field 42, a total amount display field 43, a home screen transition button 44, a payment button 45, and a transaction cancellation button. It has 46 and.
When the mobile terminal 3 detects that the product reading button 40 has been selected by a tap operation or the like, the mobile terminal 3 switches the display of the display unit 31 to the product reading screen. On the product reading screen, the mobile terminal 3 displays an image or the like acquired from the activated reading unit 36. As a result, the customer can move the product or the mobile terminal 3 so that the product barcode 7 is located within the reading range of the reading unit 36, and can read the product barcode 7.
In the list display column 41, the name, quantity, and price of the purchased product are displayed for each purchased product. Further, for each purchased product in the list display field 41, a quantity decrease button 47 and a quantity increase button 48 are displayed. Then, when the mobile terminal 3 accepts the quantity change of the purchased product by the quantity decrease button 47 or the quantity increase button 48, the mobile terminal 3 transmits the product identification information of the purchased product whose quantity has been changed and the changed quantity to the management server 2. ..
The subtotal display column 42 displays the subtotal of the selling price excluding tax for all the products in the purchased product list, and the total amount display column 43 displays the total amount of the selling price including tax for all the products in the purchased product list. The management server 2 calculates these subtotals or total amounts based on the prices of the purchased products registered in the product information DB 28, specifically, the selling price list of the store acquired by the store entry process.
When the mobile terminal 3 detects that the home screen transition button 44 is selected, it transmits a home screen display request to the management server 2 and displays a predetermined home screen based on the display information received as a response. The home screen may display information on discounts and discounts at the store 8, customer registration information on the mobile terminal 3, and the like.
When the mobile terminal 3 detects that the payment button 45 is selected, it transmits an accounting request to the management server 2 and displays a payment screen including an accounting barcode described later based on the display information received as the response. .. Further, when the mobile terminal 3 detects that the transaction cancellation button 46 is selected, the mobile terminal 3 transmits information for notifying the transaction cancellation to the management server 2. In this case, the management server 2 deletes the purchased product list corresponding to the mobile terminal 3.
(Accounting)
Next, the accounting process will be described. The accounting process is a process of paying for a product selected by a customer by a product selection process. FIG. 10 is a flowchart of accounting processing. This process is executed by the mobile terminal 3, the management server 2, and the accounting machine 5.
First, when the payment button 45 on the purchased product list screen is pressed, the mobile terminal 3 transmits an accounting request to the management server 2 (step S301). When the management server 2 receives the accounting request (step S302), the management server 2 calculates the payment amount based on the purchased product list at that time (step S303). Further, the management server 2 generates an accounting barcode (step S304). The accounting barcode is information that uniquely identifies the purchase content indicated by the current purchased product list. In one example, the accounting barcode can be a random code uniquely associated with the purchase content at that time. In this case, the accounting barcode has a meaning as an inquiry number for payment information. The management server 2 transmits a payment screen including the payment amount calculated in step S303 and the accounting barcode generated in step S304 to the mobile terminal 3 (step S305).
The mobile terminal 3 displays the received payment screen on the display unit 31. FIG. 11 is a display example of the payment screen. In this example, the payment screen includes an accounting barcode 71, a total amount field 72, a completion button 73, a product addition button 74, and a back button 75. The accounting barcode 71 is a barcode generated based on the purchased product list at the time when the payment button 45 is pressed, and the total amount of the purchased products at that time is displayed in the total amount column 72. The completion button 73 is a button that the customer presses to confirm the completion of the accounting process. The product addition button 74 is a button pressed when the customer wants to add a product. The back button 75 is a button for returning to the purchased product list screen from the payment screen. If the customer wants to add a product after the payment screen is displayed, he / she may press the product addition button 74 or the back button 75.
The mobile terminal 3 determines whether or not the customer has pressed the product addition button 74 or the back button 75 to give the product addition instruction (step S307). When the product addition instruction is given (step S307: Yes), the mobile terminal 3 transmits a shopping resumption request to the management server 2 (step S308). Upon receiving the shopping resumption request, the management server 2 performs the shopping resumption process (step S309). Specifically, the management server 2 returns the status of the customer to the state before the accounting process, that is, the state during the product selection process, and deletes or invalidates the accounting barcode generated in step S304. Then, the management server 2 transmits the purchased product list to the mobile terminal 3 (step S310), and returns to the product selection process shown in FIG. 8 (step S311).
The mobile terminal 3 receives the purchased product list from the management server 2 and displays it (step S312). As a result, the mobile terminal 3 returns to the state in which the purchased product list screen shown in FIG. 9 is displayed. Then, the mobile terminal 3 also returns to the product selection process shown in FIG. 8 (step S313). In this way, even after the payment button 45 is pressed once and the payment screen is displayed on the mobile terminal 3, the customer returns to the purchased product list screen and adds the desired product by pressing the product addition button 74 or the back button 75. Can be done. When the customer adds a product and presses the payment button 45, the accounting process is performed again, a new accounting barcode is generated, and the payment screen is displayed on the mobile terminal 3.
If the product addition instruction is not given in step S307 (step S307: No), the customer moves to the accounting machine 5 with the mobile terminal 3 on which the payment screen is displayed. When the customer touches the screen of the accounting machine 5, the accounting machine 5 displays the barcode reading screen (step S320). FIG. 12A shows a display example of a barcode reading screen. The barcode reading screen includes a product addition button 76. The accounting machine 5 determines whether or not the product addition button 76 has been pressed (step S321). When the product addition button 76 is pressed (step S321: Yes), the process proceeds to step S325.
On the other hand, when the product addition button 76 is not pressed (step S321: No) and the customer reads the accounting barcode 71 with the barcode reader 56 (step S322), the accounting machine 5 bases on the read accounting barcode 71. The payment method selection screen is displayed (step S323). Specifically, the accounting machine 5 transmits the inquiry number indicated by the accounting barcode to the management server 2 and acquires payment information from the management server 2. The payment information includes details such as the total amount and the IDs and quantities of all the products in the purchased product list. The accounting machine 5 displays a payment method selection screen based on the acquired payment information. FIG. 13A shows a display example of the payment method selection screen. The payment method selection screen includes a total amount field 61, a cash button 62, a credit button 63, and a product addition button 67.
Next, the accounting machine 5 determines whether or not the product addition button 67 has been pressed (step S324). When the product addition button 67 is pressed (step S324: Yes), the accounting machine 5 displays the clerk call screen (step S325). FIG. 12B shows a display example of the clerk call screen. When the clerk call screen is displayed, the clerk comes to the accounting machine 5 and operates the accounting machine 5, and the accounting machine 5 transmits a shopping resumption request to the management server 2 (step S326). For example, the clerk reads the clerk bar code printed on the clerk card with the bar code reader 56, changes the accounting machine 5 to the clerk operation mode, operates the accounting machine 5, and sends a shopping resumption request to the management server 2.
When the management server 2 receives the shopping resumption request from the accounting machine 5, the management server 2 executes the processes of steps S309 to 313 in the same manner as when the shopping resumption request is received from the mobile terminal 3. As a result, the purchased product list screen is displayed on the mobile terminal 3, and the customer can add products.
If the product addition button 67 is not pressed in step S324, the process proceeds to step S327. The customer confirms the payment amount by looking at the payment method selection screen, and presses either the cash button 62 or the credit button 63 to make the payment. As a result, the purchase price is settled (step S327). Specifically, when the customer chooses to pay in cash, the accounting machine 5 prompts the customer to insert cash into the cash slot, and when the cash is inserted, pays change as needed. Further, when the customer chooses to pay by credit, the accounting machine 5 prompts the insertion of the card, prompts the input of a personal identification number or the like as necessary, and performs the credit settlement. After the payment is completed, the customer cannot add products. Therefore, if necessary, the customer will make a new purchase.
When the settlement is completed, the accounting machine 5 displays the accounting end screen (step S328). FIG. 13B shows a display example of the accounting end screen. FIG. 13B is an example when the customer selects credit card payment, and the accounting end screen includes a payment information field 64, a receipt button 65, and an end button 66. The payment information column 64 displays information such as the payment amount and the payment method. The receipt button 65 is a button for printing out a receipt. The end button 66 is a button for the customer to confirm the completion of accounting, and pressing the end button 66 corresponds to an instruction to end accounting. When the customer presses the end button 66, the accounting machine 5 notifies the management server 2 of the end of accounting (step S330), and returns the display of the accounting machine 5 to the main menu. When the management server 2 receives the notification of the end of accounting from the accounting machine 5, it performs the accounting end processing and puts it in the accounting end state (step S331). Specifically, the management server 2 deletes the purchased product list whose accounting has been completed, or invalidates it because the accounting is completed. In this case, even if it is invalid, the information itself of the purchased product list can be left as a history. In addition, the management server 2 invalidates the accounting barcode used for this accounting. In this way, the accounting process for one purchase by the customer is completed.
If the product addition button 74 or the back button 75 is not pressed in step S307, the process proceeds to step S340. The mobile terminal 3 determines whether or not the completion button 73 on the payment screen shown in FIG. 11 has been pressed by the customer (step S340). When the completion button 73 is pressed (step S340: Yes), the mobile terminal 3 notifies the management server 2 that the completion button 73 has been pressed (step S341). The management server 2 generates an exit code and transmits it to the mobile terminal 3 on condition that the accounting by the customer has been completed (step S342). The mobile terminal 3 receives the exit code and displays it (step S343). FIG. 14 is a display example of an exit screen including an exit code. The exit code is a code required to pass through the exit gate 9, and is a code indicating that the customer has completed the checkout. As the exit code, in addition to the QR (Quick Response) code shown in FIG. 14, a barcode or other code can be used. When the customer holds the exit code over the reader 91 of the exit gate 9, the opening / closing gate of the exit gate 9 opens, and the customer can go out of the store 8. In this way, the customer is prevented from leaving the store with the product without accounting.
[Modification example]
(Modification example 1)
In the above example, the accounting barcode is simply an inquiry number for payment information, and the accounting machine 5 uses this inquiry number to acquire payment information from the management server 2. Instead, the accounting barcode may include payment information. That is, when the management server 2 receives the accounting request, it generates an accounting barcode using the total amount and the information of the purchased product list based on the contents of the purchased product list at that time. In this case, the accounting machine 5 can acquire the payment information by reading and decoding the accounting barcode, so that it is not necessary to communicate with the management server 2 in order to acquire the payment information. That is, the accounting machine 5 may extract the total amount from the read accounting barcode and display the payment method selection screen.
(Modification 2)
In the above embodiment, the "add product" button is provided as a button for instructing the addition of the product after the customer gives the payment instruction, but this is an example, for example, "restart shopping", "o". It may be a button with a name such as "shopping list" or "shopping cart". That is, the name does not matter as long as it is a button for adding a new product to the purchased product list at that time.
(Modification example 3)
In the above embodiment, the barcode given to the product is read by the mobile terminal 3, but instead, a QR code may be given to the product and read by the mobile terminal 3.
Other than that, a part or all of each of the above embodiments (including modified examples, the same shall apply hereinafter) may be described as in the following appendix, but is not limited to the following.
